Well, if a November release is true, Then there will be two big Albums at the end of this year!

1. Tool - Out with new album, Title not confirmed yet
2. Guns N Roses - Chinese Democracy!

This also meens that Axls statement about givin a release date soon was pure bullshit. He had no intention to make CD start this year. He is just too fuckin cracy and scared. Id hate to be hes manager or close to him somehow.

Gn'R's management would not say that a release date is planned until they officially announce it, even if they were planning it internally.  The Behind the Music was supposed to premiere today, and it's still early in the morning most places.  If there was a plan, and the plan was to have the Behind the Music help promote the album by dropping that fact, and for whatever reason, it aired a little early, at this point, we still wouldn't have an official announcement and Mysteron's information is exactly what you'd expect management to say.

Damn there still is a gnr management? It's funny b/c I rarely see that vh1 just goes out to say anything without looking into it but at the same time that whole behind the music was just to be put out there anyway.It wouldn't surpised me if it was to get people's attention Im mean anytime a musician, actor, news reporter, and news paper mention Axl people are all over it and sadly its bullshit.

its not that i dont believe you or anything mysteron but have you got a thread or a source for this info. i find it difficult to believe that an established music channel like vh1 can do a documentary on a band without doing there homework. i mean, surely they must know something about what us guns fans have had to put up with for a decade. to make a claim like that...

Are we really surprised? I am sure all of the conspiracy theorists are going to give us the whole "well there is the big announcement coming" and "why would VH1 lie?" but we just need to get past the fact that nothing is coming in the near future. We have heard nothing for months and outside of Axl's press release, for nearly 2 years now. Just because time has past does not mean we are any closer to CD. I doubt management told VH! November as they tell no one anything, something tells me they came up with that on their own.

You people are not getting it at all.

The management can deny a release date today and anounce it tomorrow. It's how it works. It doesnt mean shit if the management says there's no release date. It doesnt mean they're not working on one as we speak. They won't anounce it until they are ready to do so. Up until that point they will deny everything as rumours.

I remember calling a venue about GNR's show in 2001. They denied it. "No GNR at our venue". 2 days later GNR were booked.
