They would have been in massive contact with Geffen/Interscope in the making of that show - the information would have come from them - it is safe to assume the information is most likely official.  I would think it was deliberately dropped as a plug.

We have heard this sort of thing so many times, and of course November makes sense record sales wise, but I will not be a believer until the record is actually in my hands. Alot can happen in 4-5 months in the world of Axl Rose. I hope it does though.

Well...this MIGHT be why the show was delayed three times. Maybe they didn't think it was complete until they found out when it's supposed to come out, so they camped out in Axl's driveway. He was still on his tour of North America then, though, and as soon as he got home from that hotel in Canada that he was spotted at, the show was ready to go.

I understand your speculation regarding this date. Its the same old stuff...but theres one big difference witht his release date....

It was on an officially aired show. Its not gossip. VH1 would not throw out something liek that unless they got confirmation of it or were old....Thats the only difference. This isnt coming from a wanna be source or Ivan from fukin Madagascar...its coming from a legit source....so that is why I think this should be taken more seriosuly....

I don't think anyone thinks that they are false advertising, most people are concerned that they don't believe it will happen and it will get delayed, I have to keep a little bit of pessimism, I will believe it when i start seeing some promotion, tour dates, record in my hands.

i don't know what to think of this.

at first i was sceptical cause they sort of just threw it in there. and i firgured it might just be the record label just stringing along all the fans so we don't give up hope.

but november is only 4 months away, so assuming this did come from a reliable source, the gnr wheel must be really turning. and an official announcement could come in weeks or less.

I think this is TRUE because that's how publicity works!!!

Im a journalist and I know how these things are. Axl and Mtv arranged all this together to have a release date made official in a very reliable tv show like BHTM!!!
