Fall runs from September 23rd - December 21st.
If it's out in Winter 2006 as the advert claims, the only possible date is December 26th. Or December 21st I guess, but that's cutting it close!

Yeah but people dont measure these things by exact dates. its cold and its late Nov, so its winter right now to me. Axl is just stretching the definition of autumn.

I actually e-mailed Merck to get him confirm this once more, he ignored that question ?
My other question to him, which he replied on was if Europeans would get CD a day ahead of The United States, he said Yes

That's actually pretty significant information.

If the record is released this year, I think it will be on Dec 19th.

If it were to come out this year it would most likely me the last Tuesday of the year, I think. Remember when Nevermind came out it only hit #1 after x-mas when all the kids were returning their CD's they got for presents for Nirvana. That could be an idea of what they're doing....... or they're just stalling for as long as they can.

I 100% believe they had all intentions of releasing it this year, but something happened. That certain "list" that contained a planned surprise for an up-coming show really is the only thing that gives me any hope for an 06 release. I wonder if the re-recording songs with Bumble and Frank is the hold up Huh

It wouldnt end the surprise release theory at all. And America would still be quite surprised after europeans having it for several hours already. their surprise wont have worn off by then!

So if fall runs through the 21st of december, it leaves is with the 26th as the only possible date. Did I just crack the code? ?rofl

Europe gets albums one day earlier so 26 december for the US is not an option, because in Europe all stores are closed on 25 december and 26 december because we got 2 X-mas days over here  ok

What we need to remember is, unless they plan on printing 12 copies only and sell them in some tiny stone in middle-of-nowhere Arizona, a national, or international secret release is literally impossible.

If this is true and Europe will get it ahead of the US.  Don't European releases come on Monday...so no suprise 21st release?

Exactly, so if we are to see it this year an annoucement will have to be due very shortly. That or running information from pressing plants, marketing firms, distributers, record stores etc.

The moment of truth is near folks. Victory or death.

isn't European date always ahead of the us date? For instance now is Mon 10:50 AM in LA and Mon 5:40 PM in London. and it's Tue 3:50 AM in Tokyo and 2:50 am in parth and hongkong and Tue 5:50 AM in Sydney.

Yeah, but it's only 6 hours. So that's not really the reason.
