The CD release date rumor / speculation thread

Except for now...... Geffen have been pressuring axl rose into putting out a record since CD started.... thats why they put out The greatest hits , the greatest hits were not even approved by axl instead Geffen just wants monie from axl and their starting to collect.... so i think that the record should come out reletivly soon due to all the harassing by Geffen. Unless axl just likes pissing people off and wont do it because of that

I wouldn't get too excited about the Sterling Studio announcement on MySpace.? Motley Crue is also listed on there, and they haven't even gone into the studio yet to record their forthcoming album.? They plan on first going into the studio in May, and are hoping for a release by early 2007.? So in my opinion, this does not necessarily mean the album is at the point that it would be released in the next couple months.? I'm going to continue to stick by my theory that the Europe tour will commence without an album release (the tour itself is promotion for the album) and that CD will come out around November.

If this announcement is to be made tomorrow/tuesday then the album really has to be finished for them to say anything regarding a release date so i think since this was posted on the 14th it might be done.

Anyway, I can't believe nobody has remarked about this blurb on Melodicrock.com this morning. Another fake tracklisting perhaps?

Is the long anticipated Gun N Roses album Chinese Democracy in the process of leaking to the Internet? I have seen several references to a 13 track file appearing online today, but as yet I have no feedback or first hand knowledge if this is the finished product, more demos or a ruse!

for an unknown webstite to put up 12.31.06 is a very safe bet lol, sometime before the end of the year.  I would still like to believe CD will just pop up kind of like how GNR did this year, out of no where, no strong promotion, just release within 2 or 3 weeks of the announcement
