It was probably locked because you kept bumping it and using it for conversations.

When I say probably what I mean is, I locked it because it was being used for that and it was annoying me.

That's not the bands logo at all dude.

Axilsm made the logo, I believe from scratch. Then we also tweaked it. We made sure we dont have "Guns N' Roses" or "Chinese Democracy" anywhere. I dont see the problem?

i think they can lay claim to the G N R bit mate or you could have Great National Railways breathing down your neck as well

Well since we own GNR2k.com, I think we would be allowed to have the letters G&R2k on the shirt, right?

The GNR part is a copy of the original logo.

You can have a www.gnr2k.com on your tshirts, or the logo of your site, if it has nothing to do with a GNR logo and trust me only if the owner of the Guns N' Roses name doesn't want to sue you, but this is a copy of the GNR logo.

It's like those Greeks that started the amazon.gr site which had the same layout and sold books, but they claimed they had nothing to do with the original amazon. Needless to say they lost at court....

So what should I do?

We havent even sold anything......

Should I just simply take the store down? I mean the only same thing is they both have a star shape, but the star is different.......and the G&R thang....but thats just simple font, and it part of our site's name.

I guess if you think I should take it down though...........I trust you.

It's the font. You just can't use the GN'R logo, even if you have it on your site.

The one with the cd and "lousy tshirt", is fine.

But all the other ones that even look like the official logo, shouldn't be there...

I made 1000 gunsnroses.gr tshirts. They had the logo of my site on them (which includes gunsnroses in gunsnroses.gr ofcourse) but I gave them all for free.

The thing is that you can't make money on the band's name, using the band's logo.

I will say that it's not a 'simple' font as you put it EFISH, since not many people have it in their standard Microsoft Word program.

I understand where both sides are coming from, which is why we're getting in touch with people who can give us the right answers. We're not interested in making money out of it, so we're more than willing to give all the money we make to whoever they want us to.

Okay, so GNR's Merchandise Company said we can't use that one. No problem, we're shutting that shop down and we'll have a new one with a brand new logo soon.
