W.A.S.P. Bassist To Play With DIZZY REED's HOOKERS 'N' BLOW

HOOKERS 'N' BLOW (a.k.a. HOLLYWOOD BULLDOZER) ? the band featuring GUNS N' ROSES keyboardist Dizzy Reed, guitarist Alex Grossi (ex-QUIET RIOT, BEAUTIFUL CREATURES), and drummer Troy Patrick Farrell (WHITE LION) ? has tapped Mike Duda of W.A.S.P. to play bass on its upcoming short run of dates in California and the East Coast. The details are as follows:

Jan. 18 - El Cid (Raven's Heart Benefit) ? Los Angeles, CA (billed as HOLLYWOOD BULLDOZER; 9:00 p.m. show)
Jan. 18 - Cat Club - Los Angeles, CA (11:00 p.m. show)*

Feb. 07 - Webster Theater - Hartford, CT

Dizzy must be an animal. He's always playing shows, if not with GNR, with HNB. Hopefully this means he's done with his part of CD, but who knows.

...THE STORY:  Originally formed as a way to get free drinks in Hollywood, GUNS N- ROSES' keyboardist Dizzy Reed started HOOKERS N- BLOW (aka THE Hollywood Bulldozer) along with Matt Starr (BEAUTIFUL CREATURES) and Alex Grossi (QUIET RIOT).

"The response has been overwhelming", says guitarist Alex Grossi , "you forget just how big Guns N Roses are. Not to mention the fact that Dizzy (Reed) has now been a member of G N R for almost 16 years. On our last tour, we would show up to the clubs and there would be a stack of fan mail from all over the world for Dizzy, it's pretty amazing."

The band's set list is comprised of many Guns N- Roses songs along with a mix of classic rock standards. The band's energy is infectious. From the first song, it is apparent how much they enjoy playing together and it does not take long for the audience to become as much a part of the show as the 5 guys on stage.

Also in from the beginning,  (early 2004), Drummer Troy Patrick Farrell (WHITE LION/JANI LANE/GILBY CLARKE) explains, "there's been so many times that we've played a show & the audience is full of people who saw us the night before & drove more than 2 hours to see us again, it's great".

Dizzy Reed has been called up by Axl for some GnR duties, so taking over vocal duties for this show will be none other than JIZZY PEARL!!!!! You probably know Jizzy from his recent stints fronting RATT. He also fronted the original lineup of Adler's Appetite which means expect heavy doses of GnR's Appetite for Destruction from this version of Hookers N Blow!

I don't know about you guys...but I'm really stoked about this show now.

Initially..it was/is true...they are currently working on what dates Dizzy Reed w/ Jizzy Pearl and what dates will just be Jizzy...

...it sounds like the GNR train won't be taking a break for too long after all...they will reveal the important info so everyone is properly informed.

ps..either way..it's a good show, and all has had a good time w/ both versions...the DIZZY JIZZY combo could prove to be the best yet...
