i was just wondering after having done a bit of shopping on ebay recently adding a few bits n bobs to my gnr collection, what out of your own collections (i'm guessing you all have them hihi) is the one item above all the rest that you treasure

i'm kinda split between my live like a suicide EP or the limited editon dual illusions box set (limited to 2000), if it came down to the choice i think i would go with the illusions box set

i'm guessing you all got a collection so what item would you pick out as your favourite??

(sorry if this has been done before but i'm curious)

I've got a Silver Razorblade Pendant Like Axl used to wear in the 80's and early 90's. Not really an official GnR item but i used to think that thing was the shit....havent worn it in years, but i still got it somewhere.

I just got a Les Paul too...looks like the one slash uses in the SCOM video (epihpne though not gibson)....again not really a gnr item but its damn sweet.

The Slash McFarlane Doll is pretty awesome as well...too bad they dont have an Axl yet Undecided

i always thought the appetite pic disc was re-issue from south america, they also issued coloured vinyl in various colours too. cool item but i wouldnt put it top of my collection

on a personal note i would probably put my framed signed display top of the list, ive got pretty much all the collectable stuff but i love all my signed stuff the best

Would have to say my favourite GN'R item is my "Appetite.............." vinyl LP, which was bought when it was first released and, obviously, has the original banned cover.  This was the first GN'R item I bought and, therefore, will always be my fave.  I still have it now and the vinyl is still in as new condition, as is the cover.  Been very well looked after over the years.

I agree, wadey.  My favorite item is a Rolling Stone I have with Axl, Matt, and Slash's autograph I got on it before the Buffalo concert in '92.

This is lame, but my favorite GNR item is the memory of my first and only show so far.  I've read  the concert reviews, but to see and hear for myself that GNR is more than just a history lesson of what rock and roll should be, it will stay with me the rest of my life.  (I'm not much of a collector, just music and I have a drum head signed by Vinnie Paul and Dimebag.)

I have a TSI cd signed by all members, The whole NYC thing last May is just burned in my brain when they did the four nights @ hammerstein.  All the b.s we went thru to get there and 15 seconds after they took the stage it was all worth it

I have a long distance phone card that use to belong to Axl.
But the greatest thing you can have are the memories from shows and such!!
peace out

My favourites are my GN'R pinball machine, plus a few pieces I picked up from the bands old manager Alan Niven.

the memories of talking to axl every day when he'd call in to talk to doug(i used to work for their manger in the mid to late 90's).

my afd, and uyi 1 and 2 platinum awards from riaa with my name on 'em

have quite a few autographed pictures as well from the office, some of duff's old guitar pics.

the best piece we had in the office, though, was axl's mic stand...the one seen in the "live from tokyo..." dvd's.? i will admit that when i was in the office alone i would crank gnr on the bang and olufson soundsystem and raise that thing above my head like axl does at the end of lald...no shame at all!

I don't have much stuff. Just the cd's, tshirts, that ugly belt buckle that is on the official store website, a flag (the picture on Teddy Zig Zag's leather vest on the Tokyo 92 dvd. Same pic that was on the drums) my denim jacket that has a back patch on it, and my concert ticket stubs.

I've also got Matt Sourms drum stick(although VR days), and the Slash figure from the Spawn dude.

My favorite being the stubs.
