do you mean convert dvd files to avi's? if you do, i think you can use magic dvd ripper. i know it converts to mpg, it may also do avi.

I need a program for mac. I'm trying to use iMovie and iDVD to create a DVD of the LA GUNS Ft. Izzy '86. I've already ripped the .VOB from the disc I've got with the LA Guns show, and now it says .VOB's an unsupported format. I'm on a mac, so I need something to convert the VOB into MPEG2.
