  My point exactly !! Liverpool fans gave us tons of abuse simply because most of them are so frustrated by their own failures, and their only happiness is to see United stumble. Why go down to their level???
 
  Can anyone honestly say that a rested, in-form United team wouldn't destroy AC Milan?? 
  At Old Trafford we played with NO first choice defenders, and that allowed two beautiful, but ridiculous goals by Kaka, but we still managed to beat them and at the San Siro we were a tired, depleted side.



  A Champions League winning team should be at least fighting for its domestic title, unlike our two great finalists this year...



   Saying that United are scared of any Premiership team is simply laughable! Same with the hargreaves buy being laughable...
 I'm still waiting to see the BIG signings by other teams, but right now we have, minus one class striker (Saha doesn't count, he's always injured), a great, beautifully balanced squad, and Liverpool's best player in a CL Final was Jermainne Pennant, I think that says it all...

3. veron has a league medal, ferdinand has 2 league medals, carrick has a league medal thats more premiership medals than the rest of the liverpool team put together
benitez has spent about 100m, and feck all to show for it, alonso is the real only decent signing he has made, bellamy, crouch, kuyt, sissoko, pennant, aureillo, paletta, kewel, zende, gonzalez, luis garcia, josemi, Jan Kromkamp, are average players, never going to win you a league, and theyr only the players i can think of!!! im sure theres more that i cant remember, even you have to admit the money would have been better spent on  3 or 4 good players than a dozen donkeys that will beat the mid table teams

I'd like to see Tottenham getting a good midfielder to the center, and I'd feel pretty confident about next season.

At this moment I feel the thing that's missing is a guy who could deliver quality balls to strikers. Jenas is ok, but someone with a bit more vision wouldn't hurt. Lennon and Malbranque are good as wingers (it'd be nice to see Lennon play 90min more often, but he's young and will develop), and the three strikers are excellent (esp. Keane, Berbatov this season).

 Well England played a little better last night...McClown made his first good decisions since he got the England job, bringing Becks back and playing Gerrard as a defensive midfielder.

? I don't understand why Liverpool play Gerrard in such an advanced position, he's incredible as a def midfielder...
