I'm glad arsenal won the FA cup for two reasons:
1/ I don't owe DTH any money now [ok].
2/ We can't have
" The Best Team In England "
not winning anything at all this season [rofl].... or Wenger would have cried

So what happens now?
Are we just gonna sit back and let this thread rot, or is there anything else we can talk about?
Lots of expensive players want to sign for us. Sigh.

It will never rot. But the season has finished so it will slow down.
Looks like Fergie wants Ronaldinho..... not sure what to think of that really. I think he will be one of those turn up for 25 games a season but not the other 25 games.
I Think Utd need another world class striker or a young up n coming striker who doesn't always want to be in the team but will be backup for Van Nistelrooy.
And we are gonna need a Center back as Wes Brown is out for the season.... but again not sure who... maybe Chivu or Hofland.
Also for the future we have to buy a keeper to replace a Barthez although i think he will be ok for another season.
So we need.... 1 Attacker, Ronaldinho, 1 Centre Back and a Young Goalie.

What does everyone think about Bowyer going to Newcastle...... I think Bowyer is a outstanding player and for that i think Newcastle have a great signing
HOWEVER
He is a racist and a thug and i just hope Shearer floors him first time he gets the chance. Funny to see what Lua Lua and Ameobi think of having Woodgate and Bowyer there.
Like i say great player who i think could fill the left hand role for England... But he is a cunt and i hope Robson sorts him out

As much as I hate to sayt it, Newcastle are assembling an incredibly talented team, and Bobby Robson wll probably win them the premiership in the next couple of years.
And I think Robson will sort Bowyer out, and whatever happens in Bowyer's life off the pitch, I'm sure Robson will bring out the best in him on it.
And, Wolves
finally
went up, congratulations to them and all the wolverhamptarians with stupid accents.
And, Sunderland are shit.

Man U aren't really cheats...except Van Nistelroy.
Amen on Bowyer. Good player, but nasty piece of work.
Bobby's really taking advantage of Leeds' downfall. It reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Krusty lost all his money, and everything in his mansion was being auctioned off for 50 cents. [hihi]
And horray for Wolves. Or, rather, horray for Sheffield Utd. Nice to know our good pal Warnock is finally getting what he deserves! [ok]
I wanted Ronaldinho. [/Sulk]

I don't think Wenger is that good a manager anyway.... I think he knows how to sign players but to get them to do what he wants... he struggles.
I think Arsenal would be better with a British manager but then having said that all the french players would probally jump ship.
I hop ehe goes then i won't have to listen to him whinge anymore

No team managed by Alex Ferguson has the right to complain about that.
Arsene is a fantastic manager!
Have you forgotten 98? Or last season? Or the first half of this season? Just cause we were pipped to the title this year and only won one trophy (never before have Arsenal fans had the need to say 'ONLY one trophy'), everyone's forgotten what Arsene's done for the club. He changed us from a team who get about 2 trophies a decade to a team who won the double twice in 4 years!
I don't care if he's only been given ?10m to spend this year, and i'll deal if we don't win anything next year. In Arsene I trust.

Alex is a better manager, imho, but I will have to agree with you there my sworn enemy
Arsene is a good manager, and if he wasn't related to Arsenal, I would have no complaints seeing him at Spurs.
What did you think about the press saying that Spurs wanted Seaman? Can anything other than these smilies summarise it: [hihi]

Like i said i think he can judge players very well and has made some excellent signings.
I mean Vieria must be close to being the best ever signing.
But when the chips are down i'm not sure he has that grit that Ferguson or O'neil has to get the team going again.
It can be said for most foriegn managers as well but i really beleive that Ferguson has a better hold over his team than Wenger does over his.
I mean when Man Utd lost to Man City earlier this season he went crazy at his team... what happened..... we put together a run that won us the title and reeled Arsenal in.
When Arsenal lost to Everton early in the season... wenger went mad just like Fergie... But what happened they lost their next 3 games.... And then in the Bolton game after drawing that.... I expected to see a backlash on Leeds from that game.... but was there..... NO!!!..... He just could not pick them up in time.
"You Don't Win Titles when your playing well, You win titles when your playing Bad"
When Arsenal won the two doubles they were playing so well he could of picked a variety of players to put out and they would have won.... and Arsene is a good manager when its all going well.... but when the chips are down i don't think he performs well under pressure

well i think as a player he is good and its a good signing, yet newcastle prides itself on being antiracist, it was one of the founders of show racism the red card and yet they sign bowyer, erm contradictory i think. yeah sure he was acquited but we all know the reliablity of the uk legal system.
anway i hope he doesnt step out of line, i wouldnt neccessarily say Sir Bob is the one to turn him round, lets face it Bellers et al are hardly angels.

We wanna sign Kewell, but I doubt it'll happen. It'd be lovely if it did, though.
Kewell never did step onto the racist thug bandwagon, did he?

quality player and decent guy from what i hear.
I think Utd and Liverpool want him too though.
This is my plea for David Beckham not to leave manchester united.... although i don't think he is as important as Players like Rio, Keano, Scholes and Van The Man..... it would be a disaster for The England Captain to go to Barcelona.
Beckham has always said that hes a Man Utd fan.... well Mr. Beckham.......................................... Prove it!!!!

I'm an Arsenal fan, but if I were treated in the way we treated Upson, i'd have left too. If things aren't working out for Becks at Man Utd then, well, good riddence!
Sad day for the Arse today. I don't blame David at all for going, as he's not got long left, and shouldn't end his carreer on the bench. However, I would be so happy if he came back to help coach for us in the future. He belongs here.
God bless you David. Hope things go well for you at Man City.

[rant] Right, I've read enough of this glory-hunter Premiershit nonsense!! Time for some real football to get a mention.
It would be interesting for me if some of you could answer this simple question: which is the biggest football club in Devon?
My posting-name might give away my answer to that, but there u go!

Exeter (sp?) or is that the wrong county, plus i think you spelled premiership wrong.

Does anyone else have a problem with our England captain playing in Spain or Italy..... coz i do!
Well.... I personally think David Beckham is the best crosser of the ball in the world and probally the best free kick taker in the world... He also has one of the highest work rates in Europe.
The problem is he can't go passed people as well as most wingers.... Now i know sometimes you don't have to beat the man but its good to have in your locker.
Personally I don't want Beckham to leave.... coz i really think he is irraplaceable. There is not someone that has his work rate and creativity in one.... If Utd sell him they best get 30 million for him.
Plus i would love to see how two super intelligent minds like Ronaldinho and Beckham would work together (thats assuming he comes).
--------------------------------------------------------------
I know as i Utd fan i am supposed to hate Arsenal but Seamen is a true pro and i hope he does well although i hope man city get relegated.
Like DTH said great servant to the club but i agree with Arsene Wenger on this one... he needs a goalie who will play 90% of the games for him and i'm not sure seamen can do that.
However Wenger has made a huge mistake on the Upson sale... how could he not see how good he was/is... thats the problem with foreign managers they will always give the benefit of the doubt to foreigners like Cygan... when Upson clearly deserved a run in the side
