There is that, but there was also the fact we would have lumbered with that good for nothing until at least January if we hadn't agreed.

Well, doesn't matter, we've got some money and a better player, whilst Chelsea have lost money and gained a twerp. Win-win situation for Arsenal really.

i wouldnt say theyr boring, i could name about 15 premiership teams ho are moring
oh and to the idiot who supports sunderland, do you know how retarded is sounds to hear you say "chelski" considering your club is Irish owned, Irish chairman, Irish manager and half the the fucking Irish team in it???
pot kettle black
and your point is?
I'm happy my team can now be known as "SundIreland" hell i like that name, as for the players, better than we had last season & have better attitude than Chelsea players, atleast Sunderland players put their graft in and earn a decent living unlike the majority of overpaid players aka Ronaldo, Rooney (overrated to say the least), Ballack (good player but not worth ?130,000 a week!). And how do you consider it "retarded" of me to like Irish things, considering my Grandad is Irish, so i think you may be contradicting yourself there

my point was its stupid calling chelsea "chelski" as an insult because theyr owner is russian when your own team isnt english owned either

Anybody catch footage of Crouch's 2nd goal yesterday? Was an absolute beauty. I guess he'll get benched again.

Crouch is proving all the doubters wrong these days...the Liverpool staff should get him in a gym and turn him into a better Ian Koller

Yeah, Crouch rocked with that goal. Absolutely magnificant!
P.S. Drogba third against Levski was very cool too.

tecniqually a fud is another name for a rabbit's tail. in common use it means a fanny (both female genitalia or just a good old fashioned insult)

Not that I'm a fan of them, but I'm curious about everyone's reasons for the Chelsea bashing.?
Not bashing just pointing out that there whole club is founded on one man.
Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal have had thousands of people that put their clubs where they are. Think of the teams that these teams have produced in history and then think of Chelsea . . .there isn't alot.
It is how it is and Chelsea are the team to beat and have a fine team . . but i resent the fact that people always say its not the money its the manager . . i disagree its a 50/50 split i honestly believe that Ferguson, Wenger, Benietz and probally a few others could have won back to back titles and some might have done it playing more interesting football.

Fergie has won back to back titles a few times. And as much as it pains me to admit it, some of the Man Utd's football when they were doing it was pretty darned good.
Wenger has come close, but that isn't good enough. For a side so talented and playing the best and most entertaining football I have ever seen in my life, to not win back to back titles is, along with the inability to win the Champions League, the only blemish on the career of the greatest manager in Arsenal's history.
Benitez has to build a consistent Liverpool side before he can even dream of challenging for the Premiership, let alone win it two years on the spin. He may have won the Champions League, but when it comes to the domestic game, Benitez isn't even in the top 4 managers in the Premiership.

But Wenger has spent probally less than half in all the time he has been at arsenal.
If Wenger had 200m to spend over 2 seasons then he would win back to back titles . . i honestly believe that.
Benitez has just got to understand that rotation isn't the english way. and playing probally the best centre midfielder in the world wide left isn't of the best benefit to the team.
I just feel sorry for teams like Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool whose history has created their wealth and are
Great
clubs in an european sense. That money can eclipse that.

^ David Dein, during the various events he was at to honour the 10th anniversary of The Professor taking over The Arsenal, talked about how much Wenger has spent. Mourinho has spent more in 2 years that Wenger has in his time at Arsenal.
But there is more to life than money with Arsene. He could quite easily, if he had an Abramovich bankrolling him, go and buy all the best players in the world. But that wouldn't make him happy.
He likes to bring in youngsters and mould them, and build a team of his own making, that he can take credit for. Anelka, Vieira, Fabregas, Henry, Petit, Cole, Toure, Eboue, etc, etc. I could go on. But Wenger has turned ordinary players into world beaters and kids into stars.
But I don't worry about Arsenal being eclipsed by the money of Chelsea. Hasn't got them the Champions League yet. We have at least got to the Final.
Plus, we still have our integrity and class.

But you can't win anything with Kids. . . . unless of course they are the SUPERKIDS of manchester united . . when we win everything
