"Cheer up Peter Reid..."
You know that was the greatest chant ever...and it was invented by the greatest fans ever...
PS. Looks like Man U are gonna win the league
again
although Arsenal are playing the shittest team in the league on the last day of the season so who knows...

Well, if we get a draw tomorrow, our only hope is that Utd will slip up away to Spurs or Everton. Still, I think Utd will win. That fiver is
so
heading my way!
Anyhoo, back when we had Manu Petit in the side...

I'll be at that match [ok]
So, be cheering for Spurs, eh Danny
Oh, and football chants?
How about this one, directed at David Beckham shortly after returning from France 98:
"You're Crap,
And Your Bird's a Tart"
[hihi]
Well, it was funny at the time...

You make your own luck?
We didn't particularly deserve our point today, but meh. I'll settle for a draw, but it means we're really gonna have to stop dropping points. Our next game is a big one, we absolutely have to win that.
Ooh, imagine if it all went down to goal difference, and both teams had to out-score each other on the last day!
Still think Utd will win it, though i'd give anything to have us beat those smug bastards, and shut up "Sir Alex" for good. If Viera is out for a while, though, it could be really, really bad.
Also, poor Solly! No way did he hit the guy on purpose, it was just a genuine accident, and now he's gonna miss the cup final! I know there's no chance of the decision getting reversed, but it's sad...
Anyhoo, I wonder what i'm gonna spend my fiver on. [ok]

I thought it was quite funny to see ol' Judas get sent off
Because, as muc of a tratorous twat as he was, I know that he is not that type of player! But he has to realise, that with the fucking size of him, compared to the size of Ole, a tap would send him flying!
And, if you didn't know what Sol was like, you would think it was deliberate, wouldn't you? It looked pretty mean.
And it won't get reversed on what the player is like.
It's gonna be a good final [ok]
I thought it was quite a good match.
But, when Henry scored his "second" (ha, his first).
See the cocky arrogant look on his face when he was sliding along the floor in "celebration"?
See how he didn't acknowedge anyone else, and I didn't see him say thanks for the great through ball?
See when he slapped his chest, motioning "yes, I am very good"?
That is why I think he is a stuck up French twat.
And that is why I am not keen on the guy.
Also, could you imagine if they had an equal goal difference
I mean, there is only one goal in it.
Then it would have to go down to goals scored...
And I don't know what the difference is there...

It won't go down to goal difference, but yeah it'd be fun (read: agony) if it did. I think we could drop points against Middlesbrough and Leeds, whereas Man U will rise to the occasions against Spurs and Everton. Utd will win by three clear points.
And geez, the guy was just celebrating a goal! Robbie Keane celebrates by doing a forward flip and a punch to the crowd, i'd say that's a little more showey-offy!
I did love Arsenal's first goal celebration. I mean, i've seen good pile-ups before, but that was like a mountain!

One day late but Fucking Arsenal.
How lucky can one team be?
Make your own luck my Arse. If thats true Arsene Wenger must be cooking it up 24/7 coz they are fucking lucky.
How far was Henry offside by a good 5 yards it wasn't even close.
As it happens i thought Sol Campbells sending off was harsh but he did catch him. But don't worry he'll get his ban revoked after all he plays for Arsenal.
For me Arsenal didn't offer much and did not deserve a point.
Arsenal have a real easy run in compared to united and i think that luck they got last nite makes them champions or at least favourite.
To me Keane looked awesome and Arsenal came nowhere near him in midfield.
RUUD made campbell and Keown look average and i was suprised he didn't score the early chance. He also showed for me that he is the most complete forward in the world and miles better than Mr Lucky 2 goal.
Ashley Cole is diving cunt as per usual.
But its definatly now down to who plays best in the next couple of weeks for me.
Danny... I've got my fiver ready ... What Bout you?

Funny how opinions can suddenly change. When Utd were having their lucky spell of the season you couldn't wait to put forward the 'make your own luck' argument.

Don't exaggerate, it was two yards.

Hilarious hearing a Man U fan complaining about that kind of thing. Also, look, it's not being revoked, even though it was clearly an accident. Suurreee, the FA is biased towards us...

It's kinda hard to get near him when the player designed to get near him limps off early on. I'm sure Henry would have looked great if Ferdinand had gone off.

How did he show that? With one good goal, or with that miss?

Didn't see him dive in the game, but i've seen it once before, so i'll take your word on that one.

2-0, two fucking nil.
And to top it off we played shit.
Well, for the first half we played shitter than shit.
Actually, worse than that.
We need Dean Richards at the back [no]
Sadlly, all that was presented was evidence not to offer Sheri a new contract [no]
He was off form.
But, then again, so was our whole team.
A fucking horrible match to watch for a Spurs supporter.
UEFA cup? Ha.
But, then again, that's what I would've said before today's match...

Fucking bastard Alex Ferguson!
Can that cunt just stop the mind games for once? Please? If Man Utd are as good as he says they are, surely he doesn't need to constantly try to psych us out before every game.
He's like an annoying red ant that keeps reappearing and biting you just when you think you've flicked him away. Shut up, you stupid stuck-up bastard. You are not worth the time of day.

I love the mind games i love reading them in the paper.
I think Arsene Wenger is just as bad and it never usually effects him but just recently Arsene Wenger has been getting affected by them and when UTD scored to make it 2-2 he looked like he was feeling the pressure.

Yeah, he clearly is, though yesterday may have calmed him down a little bit. Yesterday was very reassuring.
Did anyone see the elbow to Freddie yesterday? I see no red card, no 4 match ban, and no Arsene saying "Middlesborough are eeevvvviiilll cause they haven't asked if he's okay". That's how accidental elbows
should
be dealt with.

From the linesman's angle it looked like a deliberate elbow to the face; and it was the linesmans advice to the referee that got sol sent off. So stop bitching.

Not once have I criticised the linesman or the ref for sending him off. I don't blame them, cause at first glance it
did
look deliberate. I just want the ban to be cancelled cause, after seeing the replay, any monkey with half a brain can see that it was accidental.
So stop bitching.

Well, I'm a Spurs fan, so even it didn't look deliberate, I'm going to stand by my guns and say that it should stand...
Hell, I would say that even if I hadn't seen the match nor the supposed elbow
But, in all seriousness only seeing it the four or five times that I have, I am still un-decided on if I think that it was semi-intentional.
But don't think that the FA will reverse it.
Especially since the ref won't.
They hardly ever reverse, only when it is extremly clear that it wasn't intentional.
Like when Jimmy got sent off for Chelsea and it should have been Melchiot.
[lmao]
Now, come on, that was so fucking funny.
And was rightly reversed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nice to see that Spurs won, and apparantly we deserved the win. (against a side already relegated: what an achievment)
Robbie scored twice, always good to see
You know you all love my favourite Irishman
(Second favourite Irishman being Matty Holland)
Which reminds me, come on Ipswich!!
I would much like to see them back in the top flight
