I'll do it. We have Hoyt and Walcott...and I think that's the last of 'em.
I care not though, cause the BEAST has arrived!

That isn't gonna mean shot at the start of next season when you have to have three players from UK & Ireland in your champion league starting line up. and 4the season after that

I wanna know why Manchester United didn't buy Mascharano. Forget Tevez. if we can spend 17 million on hargreaves we can buy him. Not Happy

United have got the first option on Mascherano so they can buy him next summer for ?18million or so.

United didn't buy Mascherano because they've already bought Carrick. They're similar players...

Yeah but Mascherano is more physical than Carrick. Carricks better on the ball. I think they would be good together to be honest.
During the world cup i thought Mascherano was awesome and can't believe man utd didn't go and sign him

Apparently - Arsenal have finally sold Reyes and got Baptista (just like i said they should do 2 pages ago
). I am chuffed if this is the case, a) because i was right for a change and b) cause it means we have Baptiste. We have a beast at last! Rock on Arsenal!
dot get too excited just yet, its only year long loans with the opting of perminent signins
yeah i would have liked to see mascharano go to utd, he was great in the world cup
reports say today that they both moved to west ham for nothing, but will be sold once they recieve reasonable bids, but west ham wong get the money, MSI will, seems decent enough for the clubs that are intresed in them, theyr only 22 and get a taste for english football while the big clubs see if theyr fit for the premiershim without blowing ?20m
also last year apparently MSI tried to takeove west ham, and some papers suggest that they will now try again

I hope everyone has seen the clause in West Ham's deal for Tevez and Mascherano.
They
HAVE
to play them if they are fit.
United, Roma, Arsenal, Chelsea and more all looked at these players but once they found out that was the deal, they decided not to pursue their interest and this left only Portsmouth and West Ham in the running for the players.

5-0? Is that it?
Good ol' Crouch - who needs Owen anyway? He's well on his way to surpassing goal scoring feats at national level - damn near averaging 1 in 1 at the mo!

Argentina are such bad losers. At least Brazil gave them a lesson in quality finishing today. Kaka's goal reminded me of Michael Owen's in 98 - also against Argentina!

Brazil won 3-0, Kaka made the second goal and then scored a wonder goal himself. Nobody got sent off but Argentina could have lost loads of players really. They were kicking out all over the place and one of them scraped his studs down a Brazilian's calf. Brazil definately deserved it.

I was there, not a bad game at all, cracking atmosphere and smokin' hot women.
Kaka's goal is the best I have seen 'live' in the flesh in 24 years of going to football matches.
And there is definitely bad blood between the two. I got that just from reading the programme! They had an interview with ex-Arsenal lad Nelson Vivas, who was an Argentine international. He was asked if he was annoyed that Brazil are associated with the beautiful game and his reply was:-
"Yes, it is annoying because Brazil has that as a marketing slogan. But tell me, how many games did Brazil play 'jogo bonito' during the qualifiers and how many in the World Cup? In my opinion, none. Even in the last Copa America, they beat Argentina on penalties, but during the match they didn't play better than us."
Well, today, Brazil were better in every department.
