I think that utd have a decent group but not as easy as Liverpool or Arsenal. Benfica are a good team and Celtic are unpredictable. I'm condfident especially the way we are playing at present

Well, we didn't so much drop them as hand them on a silver platter to City.

Absolute codswallop.

Why isn't Arsene buying anyone?  Real Madrid want Reyes and they don't care if they lose Baptiste - so why not kill two birds with one stone??

I have never seen Henry play as badly as he did yesterday.  He looked like an off-form Ronaldo at times, although obviously less chubby.  I think he needs more rest, because he's only gonna get more tired as the season progresses.  If Henry's form takes a big dive this season then Arsenal have no chance. no

I don't think Arsenal are entirely out of the championship race but we've gotta get our act together fast.  I cannot understand Arsene Wenger's policy of going for the bare minimum amount of players - our squad is wafer thin and we're still relying on shit players like Adebayor and Cygan.  We never buy anyone!  What happened to that ?40mill spending money we had this season?  Has David Dein just pocketed it?? Arsene refuses to pay over the odds for players. We were quoted ?10 million for Curtis Davies, and that is what Chelsea initially offered us for Cashley Cole 11 weeks ago.

Adebayor is not shit. As Wenger has said numerous times, it takes the foreigners a year to settle into England. Which is why we won't see the best of Rosicky until next season. Adebayor was a shining light at the end of last season. He can only get better. And Cygan isn't shit either, he is merely out of depth.

We have been unsettled over the sagas of Cole and Reyes, plus we haven't got the money from their impending transfers to strengthen a very inexperienced squad.

Having seen Henry so far this season, I think we should have sold him to Barcelona and replaced him with someone young and hungry, like Obafemi Martins. At ?10 million he is going to be a bargain.

Anyways, Wenger has a young striker lined up. Kilmarnock's 19 year old Stephen Naismith will be training at London Colney with a view to a ?1 million deal. Naismith won the Scottish Young Player of the Year award last season.

in the last ten years the old firm have won every single trophy in scotland with the exception of three occasions. twice we've won the scottish and livingston won the league cup.

comparitively we're dominating.

naismith is too lightweight for the premiership and will be for atleast a couple of years; he's a cracking player but if you do take him then he'll be out on loan straight away.

We don't need more 19 year olds, we need established quality. ?I agree Martins would've been an excellent buy, I also think we should've signed Andy Johnson when we had the chance - and Dirk Kuyt. ?It's good that we held onto Henry but we can't expect him to do it all by himself anymore, he's gonna need a lot of help this season. ?I really like VP but i'm not sure he's reliable enough to be our regular goalscorer.

As for Adebayor, he may not be shit but he's certainly not the answer to our problems. ?He's a good player, which is again not what we need. ?We need excellent players who can make an impact and turn games in our favour. ?I don't remember him being a shining light at all last season, the only time i've seen him play especially well was at the World Cup, which is an entirely different situation.

Put it this way - while Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea strengthened their squads in the summer Arsenal lost Pires, Bergkamp and Campbell, buying only Tomas Rosicky, who apparently needs a year break before he's gonna do anything good for us. ?I just don't understand it. ?I thought last year was meant to be our transitional year, but now he's hinting that this year will be another one!

Oddly enough I seem to remember having the exact same problem last season and we were lucky to scrape 4th that year. ?I hope i'm wrong, it's very early days and definately not too late for the team to get their act together but it's gonna take a massive effort with a squad this size.

Who's replaced Sol Campbell?

I see your point though, i'm just sulking cause we've had a bad start to the season.  After we ended last season I really thought we'd give Chelsea a run for their money this year but that doesn't look likely right now.  Maybe Man U will be the team to beat this year anyway...

Arsenal won't win the Premiership again until they replace the aggression and drive they had in the middle of the park with Paddy.
