gerrard is a knob, maybe if him and lampard had to have gotten theyr act together during the world cup, or maybe if had to have scored his penalty then maybe england would have done better
i also find in funny that some english players that stood up for sven before the world cup, have now critised him after hes gone, well they deserve a pat on the back, real big men, why the fuck didnt they speak out before the world cup and england might have done better

Yey, a nice win there - and yet another trophy, even in the glory days of the 70's and 80's we weren't taking home that much more silverware,
Over the last 5 years....hell, i've lost track of all the stuff we've won, no other team in europe can boast so many trophies of late
I'd fancy the team to get another trophy in there somewhere, probably the league cup. Its almost getting ridiculous the amount we're taking home - maybe we should give everyone else a chance. Nice one lads

Hopefully today's result is a sign of things to come this season, that being Chelsea losing, not Liverpool winning. But about that Stevie Gerrard quote, get fucking over it already, Rooney and Ronaldo have made ammends themselves yet tossers like Lampard; and now Stevie G, who despite being a United fan I have a lot of of respect for, have to keep bringing up that incident, you lost the world cup not because of Rooney getting sent off or Ronaldo talking to the referee but because your arrogant, and quite frankly shit. They did the same thing after World Cup 98 but it was Beckham's fault that time.

Actually, that's exactly what he said, if you read it. He brings up to Rooney incident as an example of how much cheating was going on at the tournament, and while he might be taking shots at ronaldo, that's because he deserves it, for being such a nob. If someone gave me a loaded gun i'd certainly knee cap the ugly long necked twat, and gerrard was on the pitch and plays against him, not think he'd be more angry?
And FWIW Steven Gerard is by far Englands best player, and when Steve McClaren starts playing him in his proper position (rather than on the left wing which sven always seemed to enjoy) you'll understand what i mean.

Steven's drumming made the band; he made a big musical difference. His sense of swing was the push and pull that gave those songs their feel, afterwards, nothing worked.

Not a Villa fan - though have managed to see them at Villa Park a few times (and held up the ''Ellis Out'' banners with everyone else) - but i'm delighted to see Ellis go - that guy deserves to be hanged for the way he's treated Villa and their fans - how dare he suck money out of the club - you dont own a club to make soley to make a profit!
With an excellent manager in place and a billionaire backer I can easily see them top 6 this season and really putting the pressure on Spurs for 5th place next season,

It will be one more trophy than Man Yoo win.
You'd rather have ur team lose in the final?

Well actually no, its a piece of metal
Shield - Noun
A broad piece of armor made of rigid material and strapped to the arm or carried in the hand for protection against hurled or thrusted weapons.
A person or thing that provides protection.
A protective device or structure, as:
A steel sheet attached to an artillery piece to protect gunners from small-arms fire and shrapnel.
Physics. A wall or housing of concrete or lead built around a nuclear reactor to prevent the escape of radiation.
Electronics. A structure or arrangement of metal plates or mesh designed to protect a piece of electronic equipment from electrostatic or magnetic interference.
A pad worn, as at the armpits, to protect a garment from perspiration.
A sanitary napkin
How pathetic do you want to be?
Speaking of daft trophies no one cares about - didn't Hearts win the Scottish Cup, didn't you celebrate that? Now if ever there was a cup worthy of melting down!

But why does he need to bring it up, Ronaldo wasn't cheating, he merely pointed out to the referee an infrigement, he never indicated for Rooney to be sent off or even booked, I've seen England players, and players for just about every other team do it, and I'm sure I will again. But because it's against England it's "cheating" get over yourselves for fuck sake. And that's all I've heard from England players since the end of the World Cup, not once have I heard one of them congratulate Italy for winning it, the closest I heard was Gerrard himself saying that England were arrogant. And Gerrard may have been on the pitch but it was Rooney and Ronaldo involved, and they've both put it behind them, if Rooney can forgive Ronaldo why can't John Terry and Stephen Gerrard? It's absurd.
And I'm not denying that Gerrard is a quality footballer, I'm a United, AC Milan and Ireland fan so I have as much a reason as anyone to dislike Gerrard, but I don't because he has all the qualities I admire in a footballer. But refusing to let the Rooney/Ronaldo saga just fucking drop is stupid on his part.

Well they have made a loss for the last few years running. Plus Ellis is a majority shareholder, it's also the other shareholders who have been making a loss during his reign.
