im not arguing that utd are hard done by, im fed up listening to people sayins utd get favourable decisions in games from refs which is bullshit
are you saying english referees are corrupt??
problem is fans are quick to blame bad refereeing or something else for theyr teams shit performance
all referees everywhere are corrupt towards big teams. everywhere. Mostly its subconscious and fan pressure plays its part, but if you think referees are all good clean honest men then you need to reassess.
if you're a referee you have a previous interest in football. if you have a previous interest in football you have teams you like and teams you dont, very few in between. if you have teams you like and teams you dont then over the course the team you likes gets the decisions. not everytime, but over the course the 50-50's become 55-45's and thats a big difference when it matters. i have no evidence to back this up and cant be bothered finding it, but statistical analysis always backs this up.
gettin back to the original point, even Sir Alex maintains rooney has a problem with agression and needs to tackle it, yet you feel otherwise. i'll trust the man from govan.

and the fact that in the last 12 months referee's in both germany and italy have been proven to be liars and cheats shows that they've just no been caught elsewhere yet. and they wont be unless and independant party does because the establishment wont shop them.

No, he is not. He is on the bench. I just hope if we sell him we don't get Le Sulk II. AKA Scarface. AKA Franck Ribery. I've found out a lot about him over the last few days, since he said he is leaving Marseille. He seems like a stroppy twat who throws a thrombie if he doesn't get his way. Sounds like he is related to Anelka and Cashley Cole. And I think I was one of the few people who didn't think he was that good in the World Cup.
sounds like hel fit in with the other little whinging bitches at arsenal then

i don't understand what you engelands see in beckham anyway. he is the most overrated player in the world. the only thing he can do is free kicks, and that's it. you got way more better players in your time

I reakon this is a temporary thing - he will hit 100 caps in the long run. I don't think he should start for England again but when it's late on and we need a goal we've gotta use him, especially if Crouch is on the pitch as well. I don't understand people who still criticise Beckham's performances.

I still think he is a great player, although he will probably never reach his peak again. I'm glad that the captaincy's switched to Terry now, but Beckham still deserves his place in the squad - he's the best crosser of the ball we have, and that sort of talent is invaluable when you have people like Crouch, as you mentioned. Having said that, it will be interesting to see how the team fares without him.
Beckham seems to be a nice guy, full of passion and determination, and I doubt many people want more than he does to see England win something one day. Maybe fighting for his place in the squad will prove to be just what he needs to boost his game...
I really feel for him right now, and it's ridiculous that anyone could hope he breaks down in tears in his next interview...fuck's sake

Beckham is still class.
He may not be in everyones 1st team anymore but he is definatly good enough for the squad.
I mean Jenas, Downing and Richardson . . . ok they are all young and talented . . but what have any of them ever done? Not alot. Coz they are not international Quality simple as that. I know that Joe Cole and Carrick has to come back in but still Beckham is still the best crosser and set piece master we have.
i leave you with some facts:
1/ Our Opta stat best player at the world cup
2/ Our highest assister at the World Cup
3/ Didn't lose a game at the world cup with Beckham on the pitch
4/ Consistently our Best English player of recent years
5/ Game against Greece . . . Need i say more
The guy
Is
an English football legend who deserves to get to the 100 cap mark coz he belongs in the company that is there.
As english people we love to build people up and then destroy them . . Its what we do. And then we let thoughts about his personal life come into it . . and whether or not he wears a skirt . . .WHO CARES!
He loved playing for his country and i believe he will be back. Especially if Shaun Wright-Phillips sits on the bench for another year. And after the World cup Lampard had . . Will he be on the bench instead of Hargreaves.
