I just can't believe we play that guy, when we've got so many other great keepers (Robinson?  Martyn?  That Liverpool guy, if he's not still injured?) and we've still ended up with someone as unreliable as him!

Richard Wright?

He's good...I would rather see him in goal than James.

Yeah James is crap, Paul Robinson is definitely the keeper for the future, so he should be getting international experience now.

Richard Wright is probably more overrated than James.  He was pretty damn terrible for Arsenal, i'm much more happy with Taylor than him!

Come on Liverpool...

Heh, good one.

James, overrated?

James isn't rated at all, everyone in England knows he sucks, apart from Sven it would seem  Wink

I can't wait till the United / Real match. It should be very fucking good.

Danny, who have Arsenal got in the next stage of the champions league....?

Owen is a hilariously bad diver.

Yeah Jeffers was brought in to teach him how to dive but the Cunt didnt do his job... when Sven saw that Owen was getting worse he put Jeffers back in the U21.

I thought Beckham had incredible passion and the loudest cheer in the pub was near the end when they were blowing kisses at Beckham and he was blowing them back it was a huge cheer.

I thought Rooney did incredibly well but i also thought that Vassell played really well when he came on.

Sol n Rio looked good to me... bridge did well.... I would like to see Ashley Cole play left wing with Brigde at left back.

Never a penalty but Ruud has obviously been teaching becks how to take em.

Bring on liverpool... its a must win for United

Must win / Must kick the shit out of them.

A red card-able offence in the penalty box after just four minutes? Diouf is such a twat.

I'm very glad that United won.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Very good to see Robbie Keane back on the scoresheet  [ok]

My heart sank when Birmingham equalised in the last minute....

But, from what I have read and heard, Poyet scored a fucking good goal.

And I was also very pleased that Arsenal could only manage a draw.

United on top, with all current games played, for the first time in fucking ages.
But, always goood to see.

I was also very pleased to read in the paper this morning that Ferguson has ruled out Beckham moving to Real.

I don't know why I was so pleased...

I think I'm becomming a United fan  Embarrassed

I agree with Robinson, if Sven has the balls to put Roonaldo in, then surely he would give Robinson a chance! Don`t mind James, his Calamity J days seem to be behind him, but everytime he goes to catch the ball he has to stumble first and collect it second time round!

Wanna bitch quickly about how shit Trevor Francis is, every week its the same, If we (palace) are winning he`ll make it into a draw and if we`re drawing he`ll make it into a defeat! Bloody shitty substitutions! ARghh!!
Shef Utd are a quality side, and we were playing so well! But we still have 2 fuck up in the closing minutes!

Believe me, its not easy being a Palace Fan!

Are Shef Utd quality?  Damn! [no]

I could've told you this morning that we weren't gonna win today.  Those bloody England internationals have ruined our momentum again (note: Last time England played two games in a row, Arsenal followed it with the worst run they've ever had under Arsene).

If we win the double it will be because of Viera and Campbell.  If we lose, it will be because of England and Cygan.

Bloody Liverpool...

Fuck!

I wanted Newcastle to win today.  Now they'll give up, and not play as well on satarday.

Whether we beat Utd or not, we will drop more points by the end of the season (away to Charlton will be tough) so i'm still really counting on Newcastle getting something then.

Everton should have kicked the ball out before the penalty, seeing as the ref was too stupid to miss that blatent, blatent foul.  If he'd seen it, the Everton player would have been sent off, there would have been no penalty and Newcastle would have ended the stronger team.  Funny old game, innit?

Bloody Liverpool.

And yeah, Keane's goal was classic! [hihi]

Double posting to add:

Heh, Ferguson sure is pissing off one hell of a lot of people this season.  Some call them mind games, I prefer to call them pathetic, bitter bitchings.

Roberto Carlos should be banned for bumping into the referee?  Umm, rriigghht.  Cause Keane's always been such an angel.  And even if he should be banned, it's none of Alex's bloody business.  Sure he's been successful, but that doesn't give him the right to act like he's above everyone else in football.  It's annoying.

Him thinking the Champions league draw was fixed is just amusing.  I suppose the FA Cup draw with Arsenal was fixed too, right?  Cause everyone's out to get poor Utd. Tongue

Aaaaaannnnnnnnnnndddddd i'm done.

3-1.... well were not out of it but we have a uphill struggle

That was the first time I have ever seen Utd being outclassed.  Up until Ruud's goal, Real were ansolutely incredible.  I've been trying to decide which was the best goal, but i'm stumped!

I think my favourite was the second.  Wonderful movement, and the turn and shot was just brilliant!

Does anyone think there is any team in the world (club or international) as good as that Real team? Undecided

Well for 60 mins we got a lesson in how to play football.

Yes, from arrogant twats.

All very talented, and all of them know it all too well...just like Henry  Tongue

Was it intended to be a cross, or was it a shot?

In my opinion, yes, it was an intended cross.

To have a shot that amazingly accurate, and to make the ball dip that much, Figo definatly would have had to have a better look at the goal than he did.
If you see it again, look at his eyes.
He is looking at who is running into the penalty area.
Not at the goal.

Ruud kept you in it.
Beckham was nothing special.
Ruud seemed like the only United with all of his heart in it. The rest did not seem that pasionate.
Although, granted, this was raised after Van's goal.

Terrible that you will miss both Scholes and Gary in the next leg [no]

One lucky goal, one given goal, and one well taken goal.

As fucking amazing as Real played, I still believe that United could've had them....if they had have been just a bit more compassionate.

Oh well, hopefully they can win 2-0 or 3-1 in Manchester...

oh yeah, the Gunners  Wink

On a serious level....no.

Unfortunatly, I do not think there is.

I would love to see United batter them in Manchester. Hopefully Veron will be back...he knows when to rise to the occassion.

I think there defense looks linda weak.

I really believe if Man Utd get a goal in the 1st 15 mins at old trafford then its really game on.

I honestly believe that we can beat them and beat them well if we get on top early.

Scholes and Neville are both out... Scholes is a huge loss but hopefully Veron is back and Neville got pissed on last night... Get O'shea in there

Why is it that all good players are considered big-headed?  They enjoy their football, they score great goals, they win trophys...what's wrong with that??

Though i'll admit Steve Macca has been seriously big headed, especially for a player who wasn't even used in the team! [hihi]

For me Real just seem like a team of really genuine footballers who enjoy playing and do their best to win.  Mr Ferguson, on the other hand, lost his head up his own ass years ago.

And I agree, Man U have a good chance in the second leg if they control the midfield better.

But the question is, how do you control the wizard that goes by the name of Zinedine Zidane? and Figo...
I can't see Man U winning 3-0 especially, if Real play anywhere near as good as they did yesterday.
