When have United ever bought the league? United built their most succesful squads from their youth teams, Giggs, Beckham, Scholes, Neville brothers, and many more all came through United's youth ranks. All Chelsea have been doing of late is buying ten players a season and winning it that way.

Did anybody else get the feeling that Arron Lennon was told to hold back?  I only say that because he wasn't attacking the play at all, I remember only once when he did and he was dispossesed. He's shown against Arsenal and the like that he isn't afraid of the big teams or the big stage, so I doubt that he simply bottled it...

Nor did Walcott even make a cameo, so I'm guessing that, given that they are our "secret weapons" Sven didn't want to show them off to the rest of the world just yet............
