Not a good first game for Mick [no]
oh well, The Gunners lost
That made my day.
Spurs / Liverpool tommorow...should be entertaining. Trouble is I have to travel up there with a load of Liverpool supporters

What Danny said about what Miz said [no]
I won't deny it, we played pretty fucking shit. Our passing was terrible.
However, saying that, with the players we had we didn't do too badly (playing wise, the result sucked).
Plus we have a lot of young players comming through the ranks.
Both Owens and Heskeys goals were gifts....Sherry was totally at fault for the second.
The good news is that Robbie may very well play on Monday week. We desperatly need his pace up front.
Today noone ever wanted to shoot, there was far to much passing around the box, and not enough urgency.
But seeing as we're missing about six first team regulars, I don't suppose it was that poor of a performance.
Ledley was solid, as always, but we still missed Dean Richards to hold the defence together and keep on top of the marking. The marking today was pretty fucking awful.
A dissapointing match really. The first twenty minutes were pretty dyer.
But, I really believe that with a full strength side, we could have destroyed them. It's just our formation and awareness of other players and where they were wasn't very good.
Europe next season I suppose?
Edit: well if that wasn't a fucking penalty then I don't know what is

I haven't actually seen the Blackburn game yet, but i'm not really sure I want to. We're getting a lot of sticky injuries at a very, very bad time. Hopefully Viera, Campbell and Keown will be back soon, cause we really need them.
Valencia lost yesterday as well, so hopefully there won't be a huge psychological difference. Except it's very rare that we have one bad result by itself - usually it's followed by a couple more. I'm not too sure we can get that point, I think we're gonna have to count on Ajax losing to Roma.
So now we're only two points clear (well, three when you look at the goal difference). It's not enough. I definately think we'll drop more points before the end of the season, and I can see Man U beating all of Liverpool, Newcastle and Arsenal if they go on a role.
My opinion: Whoever wins the Arsenal/Utd game will win the title. If it's a draw, Utd will win.
God, there's a really big chance of us winning nothing this season...
Fiver for Danny.

Fiver for Danny.
The Valencia match is HUGE for Arsenal.
And the three games in a row (LIVERPOOL, NEWCASTLE & ARSENAL) are HUGE for Man Utd.
If Arsenal beat UTd its a 6 point swing and thats too much IMO..... but i can't see us picking up more than 5 points from those three matches.
I beleive that Man Utd & Arsenal will drop points on the run in but not sure if they will lose too many.
Arsenal have a huge squad... Much bigger than any other and should be able to cope.
Its funny but if Arsenal go out of Europe it could Win them the league. If Arsenal go out and Man Utd get to the final that means that Man Utd would have 4 more games than Arsenal before the end of the season.
Its strange coz i feel more condfident that Utd will win Europe than the Premiership... which is very strange.
that loss definatly makes it more interesting. If Arsenal fail to beat Everton..... which is not a easy match then their condfidence will be knocked big time.
Arsenal still have to throw it away IMO and are stil miles favourites because of their Easy run in compared to Man Utd
I'll still be recieving a fiver IMO. That will be nice [beer]

I have been saying since the beggining of the season that Arsenal would bottle it...
If United
want
to win something, and actually try, they will.
I would rather have United playing if my life depended on it than Arsenal.

Well, let's cool down a little bit. We're still winning, we just lost one game.
Though I agree that Man U are much more reliable than Arsenal.

Yeah lets not forget its stil arsenals to lose.
Remember they have a easier run in and have technically a 3 point lead.
And Manchester United are not any more reliable.... I mean Bolton at Home and Man City Away..... c'mon.
One thing both sides tend to do is get very important goals at very important times

We used to get a lot of late goals, but they've been drying up a bit these days.
My prediction for tonight: If Viera and Campbell play (and are fit) then we could have a chance. If one of them is missing (which seems likely) we won't get the point.
Trouble is, we need to be really solid and reliable at that back, that's the important thing, but we have Seaman, Keown, Cole, Campbell and Viera all either injured or doubtful. It's a disaster!
So, final prediction: 2-0 to Valencia.

I really enjoyed the Arsenal match...
and I predicted a 2-1 score line
I should've put a bet on
Pity Newcastle are out though, I would've liked to see them reach the quarters...
but, ahh well, as long as Arsenal are out, I'm a happy chappy

Jesus dude, are all Man U fans as bad as Alex cunting Ferguson? 'Cause you're not remotely bitter, right?
Ferguson is just a sad old man who's trying to make excuses for Utd only being the second best team in England now. Sure, we're out of the Champions league, so fucking what? We had the tougest group in the tournement by a long way, not Deportivo, Basle and Juve reserves.
ITV think we have a crisis, well fuck that. We have no crisis, all Arsenal fans appreciate everything the team has done, to come from being an average Aston Villa-esque team to the best in England. We are patient, we are improving in Europe all the time. There is no crisis, i'm thrilled with what i've seen from us this year, and next year we will be even better.
On the game: It was very close, but Valencia just deserved it. Had Henry's header not been saved on the line (bad luck for Arsenal? Surely not!) it could have been very different. Like the Roma game, Cygan's marking let us down for the first goal, we really needed Keown. Meh, we'll improve next year.
Oh, and Illusions: If we'd lost every Champions League game this season 5-0, we still would've done fucking better than Spurs had.

Yeah, well, since there is more chance of hell freezing over than us qualifying for the Champions League, at least I can always support Arsenal's opponents
It makes the match more interesting if I want Arsenal to lose...
Because, technically, I do want one of the teams to win...
and if it is a dull match, when you don't care who wins, watching it can suck.

Robbie Pires has admitted to diving at the end of the Valencia game. Very disappointed in him, it's not in his character, but at least he's had the decency to step up and admit that he was wrong. I guess desperate times called for desperate measures, but i'm glad the penalty wasn't given.
Another huge game this afternoon... [nervous]

YYYYEEEEEESSSSS!!!
That is possibly one of our most important wins of the season. Anything but a win, and it would have been Man U's title. Now we've still got the upper hand, though I think we'll get caught out away to Charlton, and at home to Utd.
GnrFan: If, on the last day, Arsenal are 3 points ahead but with a far superior goal difference, who wins our bet? Technically, Utd could win it then if Arsenal lose and Utd win 10-0.

Wow.
How things can change. I just knew that we were going to loose against Leeds today.
The Celtic game was the worst display I've seen from Pool since I don't know when. I can't find words for how bad we were.
I thought I was dreaming today. The same team as against Celtic - (only Diouf instead of Vladi) - and suddenly we played the best football we've done in months. 3 important points. Now it's United next.
...I'm still in shock over our loss against Celtic though. It's going to take time to recover...but we'll bounce back.
