The best FA Cup Final I've ever seen, even if the best team did not win.
Sven needs to build England's Worlc Cup midfield around Stevie G.

Poor West Ham. They came so close, but Gerrard is just so fucking good. He never knows when to give up. Amazing!
Sven needs to drop Crouch immediately, before he thinks about doing anything else.

I thought West Ham were the better team, but Liverpool had Stevie G.
I'd make him England captain.
As for Crouch, even an obviously unfit Dean Ashton played better.

no dont say that, i could not watch liverpool for 120 mins, that would be torture, theyr brutal to watch
Dude. How wrong could you be.
A bit of the shine was taken away by the fact that the scousers won, but it was without doubt the best final I have ever seen.
Never have I ever seen a football pitch resemble a battle field like that did though.

Yee haw!
What a win - and what a player Gerrard is!
how lucky were West Ham - an own goal, a goalkeeping howler and a fluke cross - most teams dont get that luck in a seaosn let alone in one game!
Thats Liverpool's 13th straight win, well done lads, the win almost had me in tears - but i'm too manly for that

i still maintain liverpool are boring to watch, the reason that this was so exciting was because liverpool were so poor and gifted the first 2 goals to west ham

Watch some matches and come back and say it
Your comments are as daft as those that claim luck took Chelsea to do successive league wins
One comment you can get away with would be that Cisse, Morientes and Crouch are awful footballers, cos thats true.
Watching the final it was the sheer incompetance of Crouch, the ineffectiveness of Cisse and the just plain uselessness of Morientes that bothered me more that the scoreline, Fowler + new striker next season please

It wasn't quite so much fun from a Liverpool fans perspective - the last 10 mins before Gerrard's goal were painful viewing, i had almost given up hope as the 90th min approached...

Liverpool have been just about the most exciting Premiership team for the last 2 years. They've given us classic games in the Champions League, FA Cup and Premiership - and they're the only team that actually stand up to Chelsea. Credit where it's due, Benitez has turned Liverpool into a force to be reakoned with.

Whoa whoa, steady on there boy...
I still say the best game of the season was Spurs vs. Blackburn; that's how good the Premiership is when you're allowed to play
(note: right now... We still need to teams to
let
us play to be right up there..........)
Gerrards goal would have been the best of the season had he just done that in normal play.
Though, he also gets bonus points because it came out of nowhere.
He gets extra points because it was the ninety first minute.
He then trebles those points becuase it was a cup final.
Those same points are then infinitely duplicted because, for the ten minutes prior to his strike, he was limping about injured.
Never, nor will I ever see again, anything as catacismacaly as hillarious as Harewood's strike from his injured leg. So unfair, but so freakin' funny.
I said ten minutes into extra time that Cisse and Harewood should have just gone up to each other and both agreed to go off! Yeah, it was a cup final....... But who knows what permanant damage they could have done. In the case of Cisse...
Fingers crossed, eh.

We unleashed Christian Ziege on you - we'll do it again, and take the 6 mill we get and buy Heskey back yee-haw!
Rumour has it Benitez has a shortlist of strikers no one could possibly want and is carefully selecting Crouch's strike partner - next season will witness a strike partnership that scores less than the average goalkeeper - fear us!

Whoa there ! Stand up to Chelsea? What did they do aginst Chelsea in the Premier League? They got hammered. If they would had won one of the two matches the title race would had been a little tighter. Man United actually beat Chelsea in the league...
