TBH Jim I don't think Sven has thought about his plan A yet, nevermind B
plan a - shag everything that moves.
plan b - continually embaress yourself untill the FA/Board have to pay you off.
plan c - Take up equally lucrative post at next big club
plan d - See plan a.
Oh, he knows what he's doing.

Ditto! They may as well just write Brazil's name on the trophy (even though there are no names on the World Cup) now and save the bother!

... I'd throw in a Republic joke (they're in abundance) right about now, but for two reasons,
One, as unlikely as it is I then thought you may be from the Northern,
and
Two, Robbie Keane.

Well, we still celebrate '66 because it's the last real thing that we have done that warrants celebration... So it's only natural that the northerners will be celebrating
that
victory for at least another thirty years.
As far as the Republic joke goes... I got nothing. I was gutted that you didn't qualify. (Though, I did have to resist the temptation to throw in an "even" there.

ah the "even there", yes by laughing at england has earned me quite a few of them at various forums lol
im gutted too, that was my best chance to go too a world cup, itl be a long time before its in europe again tho i dont think wed have been much good under kerr, stauntons team looks a lot more promising
almost time to head to oriel park now to see dundalk hammer shamrock rovers
pity, this used to be the biggest game in Irish football, guess its only the biggest game in the first division now

Looking at England's squad I'm actually quite embarassed that they got in ahead of us! What's a lanky string of piss like Crouch gonna bring to the table in England's heroic bid to take the gold?!

By an amazing quirk of fate i have today off work so can see the final live - boo-ya!
2-1 Liverpool, and almost inevevitably Jamie Carragher will be called on to score a penalty as seems to be the way in every final we play in

I'll go 1-1 after 90 minutes, maybe but probably not 2-2, but either way the equaliser will come late.
A goal either side of half time during extra time (we don't use silver goal in a real football country, do we............) and then a final goal at the death.
So 1-1 after 90, then 3-2. I'll go...
Liverpool.
