He looked pretty hurt but I reckon they'll have him back for the World Cup, he left the stadium on crutches, so at least he wasn't on a stretcher or anythin, but there's always the possibility. This may sound strange comin from an Irish person but I really hope he's back for the World Cup, I'll be shoutin for Brazil, but since my country didn't get in I want all the World's best players playin to get the best World Cup possible.

If Rooney's out, Frank Lampard should be moved forward a tad, just behind Micheal Owen. Then we could bring Carrick into midfield and give Gerrard the chance to get forward as well.
It'll be fiiiiine. We'll still win the World Cup.

Congrats to Chelsea for buying the title - and next seasons title
Anyone that thought there was even a small chance Chelsea wouldn't win the league this year was clearly intoxicated
And anyone that thinks Chelsea wont win it next year needs to sit closer to their tv

The Metatarsle Curse strikes again,Wayne's out for 6 weeks not much chance of him making the world cup and Micheal owen is still struggling if those two miss the tournament who are we going to have for strikers?

I like the Danny's Arsenal tactic to be honest, it would really utilise Gerrard, Lampard and Carrick. The only problem is, we don't have an Henry that is good enough to play as a single out and out striker. If Michael Owen is fit, it will work though.
Can you imagine what a joke we would be if Peter Crouch and Darren Bent/Jermain Defoe have to start up front? It would be enough to cry about. I know that he has been out of form for a while now, and I am probably being bias, but I do honestly feel that, of those three, Jermain Defoe is the only player with even a glimmer of international class about him. And, as I say, he's been rubbish recently. But it's his confidence. A hat trick today against Bolton and I'm sure he'll be fine for the World Cup ...

Terry could be a doubt as well.
Injured after seven minutes yesterday and he refused to come off when told by Mourinho.
He is out for at least 4 weeks.
So if he is a doubt, King is a doubt with his metatarsal, Campbell has lost the plot, and Ferdinand got knocked off the ball by little Joe Cole, we would also appear to have problems in central defence as well as attack.
I guess we could always call up Teddy Sheringham and Robbie Fowler if Rooney and Owen are out though.

Not looking good for Rooney for the WC
Eh who cares that Liverpool beat Villa today to record one of our worst seasons ever.. BIRMINGHAM WENT DOWN!!!!!
I guess if Dunn can stay off the treatment table and Pennant out of jail, someone will snap them up.

shearer's tactic of dropping to his knees whenever anybody challenges him to win soft free kicks wouldn't work at the world cup as the referees wont be english.
id take sheringham if rooney doesnt make it.
In important news Hearts cuffed celtic 3-zip today to almost ensure champions league football and break the old firm duopoly that has blighted scottish football for decades. Well done lads.

"Lets all laugh at Rangers,
Lets all laugh at Rangers,
Ha ha, ha, ha ha,
Ha ha, ha, ha ha"
I rate hearts' chances of winning the league highly next season. After hearing the celtic fans today theres no way they can avoid getting points deducted. "Oooh, ah up the ra indeed"

Absoloutly amazing. Yes, we were awful in the first half. But the team we finished with... It was such a bare bones side. Barnard was the only striker left on the pitch by the end, and unless you're a Spurs fan then I doubt that you've even heard of him. It's a shame that Defoe didn't really get a chance to do anything, but his seat on the plane is almost guaranteed now.
1-0, a great victory and only one more game of the season to go!

The Spurs would probably be top if they still had Klinsmann
