thats not what i meant.yes its boring for a team to dominate but when utd dominated football at least they deserved to be up there.if chelsea had worked hard for a fair few seasons and built a team of players instead of buying a team of players then they would deserve to be up there too.

how did you deserve to be up there more than chelsea? cos u brought a few ppl through the academy?

maybe chelsea deserve to be up there with their good buys.

scum bought the title for years n never complained but once someone else starts doing it its not fair.

n its not as if youre team isnt made up of bought all stars at the moment. rooney, ferdinand, van horseface, smith, saha, ronaldo...

deserved? Some of you need to starting re-assessing how the world works. It's not possible to just randomly throw money at a football club and for it to dominate like chelsea have, and reversly every other team that was done well has in some way bought it.

No, but there is such thing as being more deservEd than others...

Take Manchester United for example. There is a guy that writies for the Sunday Mirror (I read it at work...), I forget his name, I think it's Rob something. He's a prick, but I did agree with him on one point. He was answering to a letter about how United fans will complain when Chelsea win everything and rule the world (Jose has his eyes on a second English Treble*)...He said that United fans would pipe up that their Treble was earned through the academy and home grown talent, rather than greedy highered mercaneries. And they'd have a point. I like how he put it.

Smith Suffers Massive Injury Blow
Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Alan Smith suffered a broken leg and dislocated ankle in the defeat against Liverpool.

The combative Yorkshireman landed awkwardly after sliding to block a John Arne Riise shot late in Saturday's tie, and has subsequently gone to hospital.

"It's a bad one alright," Sir Alex told MUTV. "It's a break in the leg and the ligaments have gone obviously and the ankle joint has come right out. He's gone to hospital. It's one of the worst I've seen.

"It's a real bad one and we're all thinking of Alan at this moment in time."

Ferguson was quick to hail the 24-year-old's incredible courage despite the severity of the injury.

"Alan showed the courage he has with the way he accepted it and just put his hand up and waved for the physio right away. He has unbelievable courage," added Sir Alex.

"It's a really bad one and it's going to be a long term injury. But he knows we're completely in support of him.

"The best we can make of the situation is to try and win the Carling Cup for him next week."

Oh lighten yae self up, I was joking. But your treble was pretty mickey mouse.

And yes, I for one remember winninga trophy, if any trophy is still a trophy.  Tongue

I distcinctly remember winning the League Cup a few years ago...2001? I can't remember. It was against Leicster. Spurs fans have hated Robbie Savage ever since that game. He'll get booed whenever he plays against us. But, then again...Everybody hates Robbie Savage.

I don't know which clip is my favourite; the referee elbowing him in the face, or him tripping over when he came out of the tunnel.  Grin

All the best for poor ol' Al - seems to have been a really bad injury, didn't see how it happened, hope it was just an accident - hope he's back soon.

Yeah, it was an accident, he fell on it really badly. Your fans acted disgustingly though. It would be bad enough, but there had been all that fuss about Neville showing a bit of passion last time...It's a disgrace, really.

We should have beaten Wigan earlier, but I don't think that we would have really deserved it, and at least it was an entertaining match. More so than that bollocks I watched yesterday. Why is it that whenever two big clubs in England play each other the match is usually shit?

One of the problems is that neither team ever takes any fucking risks.
