So..Rio a defensive midfielder...is this a good idea?
I think it definetly is for England, that way him, Terry and Sol Campbell can all play at the same time.
For United, it all depends of the way Vidic will perform.

I don't think he'll be as good in that position as Ledley King. His form's been pretty poor this season.

If Ledley King played for one of the big three then more people would probably be in favour of him in that position.
Against Fulham last night we were fucking awful. Rasiak is a disgrace to 'new' Tottenham; we were paying like we did a couple of seasons ago.
Fair enough our midfield was pretty torn to pieces, and really lacked the calming influence of Davids, but we should have performed better than that.
Total football? Total shite.

I caught the second half of the Sunderland v Boro match this morning. Sunderland were awful. Worst team I've seen for some time.. and I'm a Villa fan!
Whitehead missed an open goal only a few yards out.. it was just awful! And the players they were bringing on to change the game hadn't scored in like 20-30 matches.

What a horrible day of football. Every fibre of my being wants to laugh at Man Utd but...what do I have to laugh about??
Chelsea. Ruined. Everything.

I'm not sure, but I think that none of the top six won in this group of fixtures...
So don't worry Danny, we'll just say these games didn't count...
Let the relegation battlers get the points they need.
We were fucking awful as well, so were United. I'm not sure about anybody else...
Swings and roundabouts, eh?

Well Souey has been chopped, not much of a suprise there - hell, i was astonished when they appointed him in the first place, and i think a good many others were too.

a good but not very convincing win for united against fulham today.we,re definetly lacking confidence in the back including van der sar.although he is a top goalie,he doesnt seem too comftable lately.

Robben is a total pussy - diving to get the keeper sent off when his team's already 2-0 up. I don't think he passed once in the whole game as well.

Even though a Chelsea win is probably better for ManU, I supported Liverpool today...

I hate them both, I didn't really care either way. As my dad said, Liverpool think that they're a lot better than they are. They're definatly a well organised team, but I wouldn't consider them as serious title contenders any more than I would consider us.
Them losing helped a bit though, helps consolidate the top five a bit more.
I mean, yeah, there's no chance in holy hell of us catching Liverpool, it's going to be hard enough to stay ahead of Arsenal (I reckon that there will only be one or two points in it...It will definatly go down to the final day) but it just feels better if, even if Chelsea are, second and third aren't speeding away from us as well...
And, yeah, Robben is a prick. Gallas and Terry acted like fucking dickheads as well before the sending off too. They're such a mouthy bunch of arrogant tossers, close to the whole lot of them.

i really hope this chelsea domination thing doesnt last too long as im starting to lose interested in any premiership games.when we,united, dominated,we were built on a team of nobodys like mcclair, irwin, ince, sharpe etc and kids like backham, giggs n co.but with chelski being a "BOUGHT" fake team it makes things boring.imagine if chelsea were out of the picture and it was man u and liverpool fighting for first place with only 6 points and 2 games in hand for liverpool being the difference.that would be worth watching not a runaway allstar team like chelsea.utd and liverpool are up there coz they have built on success in recent years and have proved their status by becoming a force over time not overnight.

thats not what i meant.yes its boring for a team to dominate but when utd dominated football at least they deserved to be up there.if chelsea had worked hard for a fair few seasons and built a team of players instead of buying a team of players then they would deserve to be up there too.

deserved? Some of you need to starting re-assessing how the world works. It's not possible to just randomly throw money at a football club and for it to dominate like chelsea have, and reversly every other team that was done well has in some way bought it.
With the exception of celtic's european cup winning team (every player in the starting eleven born within ten miles of eachother) nobody "deserves" success.

Chelsea's success may seem unfair...but its not undeserved.
They are the best team in the world at the moment, they have a good manager and good players - they deserve to win the league and they'll take the Champions league too
Its just a damn shame they spend so much, no one can compete - thats bad for the game.
