Err...
Fowler lost what made him great a while ago.
Morrientes can't even get a game, and Fowler is brought in as...What? Help? Or just to rub it in...
That said, maybe he can find 'it' again. If he could anywhere, it would be Liverpool.
I only found out because I got a text message at work, so I don't know any details, but I would assume that it is just until the end of the season, surely?
Oh, that said, apparantly we were after Sherringham.
Must be the press' idea of a joke...

Fowler's back ay Liverpool?? Holy shit! I always said Liverpol's biggest flaw in the past 10 years and the reason they never could reach Arsenal and ManU's level, was the way they treated players that actually gave a fuck about this club, not just about their weekly paychecks. Players like Fowler, Owen, McManaman or Redknapp were all let go, and the same thing almost happened with Gerrard last summer

Liverpool star Cisse assaulted his pregnant wife
Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse was cautioned by police for assaulting his pregnant wife, police said on Friday.
The 24-year-old French international, who married wife Jude last June, was arrested at his home in Frodsham, Cheshire, last night.
He was taken to a police station nearby and questioned before accepting a caution for common assault.
A Cheshire Constabulary spokesman said: 'At around 9.40pm on the evening of Thursday 26th January, police attended an address on Manley Road in Frodsham after receiving an allegation of assault on a 30-year-old woman.
'As a result of police inquiries, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 39 assault.
'The man was interviewed at a police station and cautioned in respect of the assault.''
Last October, Cisse announced that he and his wife were expecting their first child together in spring of this year. The couple both have children from previous relationships.
In the same month, he admitted assaulting a 15-year-old boy in a London park after the teenager mocked him while he filmed an advert.

and thanks to his penchant for buying council schemes, one quarter of Liverpool belongs to him.

Good news for Liverpool? And you thought Roy Keane was crap?!
He was nothing more than a thug who couldn't tackle. Viera was 10 times what Keane was. Keane's contribution was firing up the team and scaring the hell out of the opposition, which was more to do with his personality than footballing skills

Err...
Fowler lost what made him great a while ago.
What made him great was his finishing skills, he's lost his fitness, but not the finishing - give him the service and he'll do the rest, he's not what he once was and i don't imagine he'll start many games - but what a substitute he'll be.
Cisse and Crouch aren't the best finisher's around, whereas Fowler is, we've lost many games because we couldn't put chances away and i think Fowler will help out no end.
...and besides, its just a great feleing to have him back, playing or otherwise, it helps further undo Houllier's reign of terror.

When i'm joking i'll say things like this:
I'm confident Chinese Democracy will be out this year
I factor in how good a human being the player is when i rate them too - hence why Rooney will never get a word of praise from me. Keane is a disgraceful human being, a thug who Fergie protected. And on top of that, he was an incredibly over-rated player.

To be fair although i hate the cunt, Keane was one of the best midfielders of his generation.
Man United vs Juventus in the champions league. Nothing further needs to be said. He was a rare breed, he never had the skills of ronaldinho or zidane but that wasnt his game.

anyone thats doesnt think roy keane wasnt a good fatballer should be banned from this thread, you only have to look at how highly he is rated by other premiership managers and players
in his last game for Ireland he dominated both zidane and vieira
he domanated in midfield against steven gerrard in last seasons 2 wins over liverpool, actually he thought gerrard a lesson
when utd bought him he was the most expensive player in utd history, and along with giggs is the only player to play in all the utd teams that dominated the premiership for so long
