I reakon they were booing Sven's tactics, and the fact that they didn't want Wright Phillips off. I was very angry as well, the booing was harsh. Anyway, it turned out to be a very good substitution. Having three strikers really opened the game up.
Arsenal are convinced that they can't win without Henry. The injuries seriously suck, it's unfortunate, but did you not expect this, Arsene? I think losing to West Brom and drawing to West Ham was more about confidense than anything else. The players have too many doubts.

i just want to know why he left. if he left us for another job it doesnt speak very highly of the man.
I don't think our chances of winning the league have left with burley tho. As good a job as burley did, it was the players on the park that won the matches.

Forgive my ignorance - but surely most of the players u have now where playing the dismal football on display last season - Burley gave them a belief and a tactical framework for them to achieve their potential - guys a genius, without him - i don't think it will end well
Maybe Burley would like to go to Liverpool

Megson Out
Fuck sake, i dont post on here often due to the fact i never really have anything to gloat about coming from a Nottingham Forest standpoint.
Today was the day that the straw broke the camels back though.
Losing 3:0 to Yeovil in the Third tier of English football, its a disgrace and we need a change ASAP. Megson certainly has to go, it would seem after his comments today "The players are arrogant, thinking they are better than they are" that he has lost the confidence of the players.
Over the past 3 years we have had 4 managers, all of which for various reasons failed miserably, barring Mick Harford who i think didnt get a fair crack of the whip!
Now surely the fact that four managers have failed in almost the same amount of years is beyond belief...
...So there must be something wrong elsewhere and my finger is pointed directly at the Chairman, Mr Nigel Doughty and indirectly at Gary Megson. Doughty for being the 13th richest man in the country and investing fuck all (recently, hes done his bit with debts but is reactive as opposed to proactive) and Megson for being a self styled disciplinarian who doesnt seem to be able to instill discipline.
I see Burley has left Hearts, regardless of his managerial reign with the sheepshaggers id have him as our gaffer at the drop of a hat, every team he has been with he has taken to the top of the league.
Even if he does like having it away with players wives.

Nah, not really. There are only 5 players in this years starting 11 from last years team. 4 of them are starters for scotland. The chairman brought in a champions league winner, european championship winnder, czech republic international midfielder and and midfielder from inter. From the old firm I'd only take Barry Ferguson and John Hartson - even then i wouldn't definetly start them.
Thats not to say Burley's not done well; he has, but his squad is as good as the Old Firm's usually is, and there's is weaker than usual.
Some of the rumours going about on the hearts forums right now are incredible. Burley's an alky, Burley was shagging a players wife, burley was badmouthing Romanov, burley was just a stop-gap manager for Nevio Scala, Burley was being tapped up by Villa/Newcastle/Everton/Rangers/Celtic, Romanov was a dictator.....
Give it a few days and we'l get the truth tho.

All purely speculation created on hearts fans forums (there should be an ' in there somewhere, but i'm not an english teacher). Of all the scenaro's touted i think that one is most likely to have been fabricated from nothing. It will have been started in the knowledge that that is a supposed reason for his leaving Derby. As far as i know, the real reason he left Derby is he was having difficultly working under Director Of Football Murdo McKay.
It is interesting to note that he left Derby due to "irreconcilable differences" and a with two-way confidentiality clause. Precisely the same wording as the official statement from Hearts today.

Being a Forest fan we tend to hear a lot about Derby when things go wrong and other fans will often read their message boards to find out what happened.
Now i know it hasnt been confirmed but a two way confidentiality clause because he fell out with the chairman?
No way.... it points directly at the Player,Burley, wife, pregnant scenario, however with that being said, will we ever know the truth!
I know the name of the player who it was "Apparently" as well but i wont be bandying around names on a message board.
If you wanna know...PM me.
Good on him though, its like a new style of management.
Player 1 is not performing....
Shag Player 1's Missus, get her up the duff and send a message to Player 1 that he is not a god.

I cant see anyone being able to stop them, bar a massive flu virus sweeping the club and rendering most of the players in both squads unplayable.
When i say both squads i mean 1st team and Reserves, both of which i feel would contend and or win the Premiership hands down.

He has always played well, he just wasn't as spectacular as he was in his ManU days because of his position at Real and England..he just got ANOTHER unfair red card today!!
Chelski dropping 2 points makes ManU's draw yersteday even harder to digest...

Why? Because they let the team that are propping up the table double their goal tally against them?
By Christmas? Not a chance.
Mourinho said they would achieve that if they won 9 more games; not if they lost to the team rock solid bottom of the Premiership.
A 1-1 against a United side that wern't playing badly, at Old Trafford, was a fantastic result for us. I'd put my money on the North London derby being a score draw as well.
Finally, for the first time in about 20 years, a Tottenham side with 'potential' are finally beginning to prove their worth. Make no mistake though, this team would not be improving like this if not for Martin Jol. A great coach, and a great guy.
At least Davids is trying to become the most booked player in Premiership history though. Five yellow cards already? Fucking hell.

They've won the premiership already so waiting as long as Xmas to declare them champions seems a waste of time - no wait, Arsenal will suddenly go on a run and beat them to it!

Arr, you have no faith.
As long as teams come at them, Chelsea will find it hard.
After a run like this, the rest of the season could go one of two ways:
1, Teams could go into the fixture
certain
of getting nothing out of it, and resting key players. (It's already happened once this season...) Chelsea would walk to the title by about a 50 point margin.
Or, teams could go into the fixture with nothing to lose. And really give it a go. Just go at them. That is why winning back to back championships is so hard, if teams go into it fearing nothing other than a minus goal difference...
If all the other teams just stand back, then it truly will become stale...
I haven't lost
that
much faith in the Premiership though.
