What a boring game Villareal-ManU ! But I like Alan Smith more and more in the defensive midfielder position!
Yeah, very poor, I agree about Smith, despite what all the experts are saying, I think Ferguson knows more about his players, and hell even football than they do. However I do think Smith will take time to improve enough to fill the position in the long term. Last night we were leaderless and looked like a pack of headless chickens.

pity he plays with two crap teams
England and Real Madrid
Crap managers, not teams
with the players them teams have, you cant put all the blame on the managers
I can...and do

Serious? I still haven't heard an update on that til now, that'll be a huge blow for us, he is, in my opinion, the best defender we have, and was sorely missed when he was out last season.

7 wins out of 7 for the mighty Heart Of Midlothian. Sitting eight points clear at the top of the league.
Champions League here we come!!

Would love to see them win the league, just so i could convince myself the Scottish league isn't a as big a joke as i know it is
Two teams pull in 50k a week and all the others teams in the Scottish leagues don't have 50k fans between them in the whole world.....

hearts had 300,000 lining the streets of edinburgh last time we won the scottish cup back in '98. When you consider liverpool (one of the biggest clubs of all time) drew half a million for winning the european cup it ain't that bad. (i do ofcourse know your comment was tongue in cheek).

Why do Man United players always get injured a lot?? Seems like every season a few key players are always injured..you don't see that at other clubs.

Are you serious?! Did you see them against Villarreal without him?! They are all over the kip without him, although he is not as techinacally gifted as he once was, he is still a huge presence and inspiration to his players, he is still their leader on the park.

Well, how come both club and country still rely on him greatly? He is a natural born leader, and as long as he has the desire to play he will be a world class player.

With his injury history and work rate, he's done well to last this long at Man U.
