ARGH! Angry

Fuck, we should've killed them today.  Cunting Liverpool!

First off:  Pires, Henry and Dennis were all amazing today, especially in the first half.  Dannis' pass for the first goal was incredible.

Second off:  Solly was shit at the back.  He was falling over, barging players, and giving the ball away all day.  IMP, he was at fault for both goals.

Third off:  The ref generally had an okay game, I think.  The decision at the end, however, was stupid.  Admittedly, had the goal not gone in I wouldn't have looked at it twice, but if you don't know what happened (and they blatently didn't) you give it to the defensive side!  Arsenal luck! Angry

Man U have the title now.  That's a fiver for Danny!

When i first saw it i thought it was a corner!

And i thought the advantage should go to the attackers anyway!!!

Arsenal were awesome... and the title is stil in Arsenals hands and there is no way Man Utd will drop less points than Arsenal.

I'm stil condfident of my fiver

Nope, pretty sure it's meant to go for the defence, but I admit i'm nitpicking, it was a 50/50 decision.

The fiver is mine and you know it. Angry

I thought these days everything is designed to make it more attacking i.e. inactive offside etc.

Cygans header was in anyway did you see that Sky proved it.

Hey look your in the drivers seat you have to admit that.... Bring on Arsenal at Highbury... i want revenge for you lot beating us at old trafford last season

I have a friend who does amateur refereeing, and he reads the rule books a lot, and he assured me that's the rule.  I don't really care, you can't blame the referee for that, I was just pissey after the game when I posted.

Again with Cygan's header.  I haven't seen the proof, but it was pretty impossible for the ref to get right, so i'm not bitter.

Agreed.

I think that one descion never puts a team down or wins them a title you play 38 games in the season and i really believe that you make your own luck and all the top team gets equal amounts.

Lets not forget that Bergkamps goal was a deflection. And lets not forget Jeffers blatant dive not so long ago.

It all goes around.

I think the teams don't seem to get as many as simply they don't attack as much and therefore don't get as many lucky goals.

But in conclusion Arsenal are the luckiest team in the league.... i mean it can't be Manchester Utd.... Have you seen forlans haircut.....

... I wonder how they explain to luke chadwick and Forlan that they don't sell any pictures fo them in the club shop... Oh well. Sally Gunnell was a Star maybe Diego should take up Hurdles Grin

arsene whinger comments
Quote
"I'm conscious of Newcastle's big move, they are a dangerous side, but we have to play all the teams at the top so everyone will drop points.

"We must just consider our own performances and keep going. We known we had enough chances to have buried them.

"It will be very difficult now for Liverpool to challenge for the title, but ourselves, United, Newcastle and Chelsea are all in the hunt now."

you dont know how proud that makes me feel, even if we aren't here come may (in the top two i mean)

What's wrong with those quotes? Undecided

Arsene hasn't moaned at all about the refereeing decisions this time round.

Yeah that was the biggest suprise of the season for me.

Maybe he is trying to get people to like him.... i wouldn't bother son.

Newcastle, Man Utd and Arsenal are the only challengers IMO.

Arsenal will win it still baring a complete and utter collapse a bit like Newcastle had a few years back.

But second place is very interesting coz people keep expecting newcastle to drop off and the refuse to budge and with woodgate hopefully their defense will tighten up. I prefer man u to finish 3rd and Newcastle win it than finish 2nd and Arsenal win it

that suprised me too. are forest still in financial crisis? i think you will agree that the JJ signing was great for all parties involved. we got a cracking footballer, as proved in recent months, and you lot got some much needed cash.

wasnt he captaining your side at one point? maybe it has something to do with all captains getting sold as i rember jj being captain for you's at one point.

I rate Newcastle a lot at the moment and i see them genuinely challenging for the title, i dunno its justa feeling i have got at the moment.

Also they probably saved the existence of Forest fro buying JJ, hes a gem and u got a good one there, how long can they keep him out the England squad, thats what i say...

And no Forest are not in financial crisis anymore, there fine and dandy, obviously every bit helps, but selling the Vice captain is a bit  strange. Just earlier in the week he was commenting on how forest need to be sharper in front of goal...

This is must have happened in the last few days, good luck to him, hes a cracking footballer, Defensive really but can play right back, centre mid(defensive) or right midfield.

Well, i'm gonna go and hide somewhere away from anything remotely related to football (Howard Wilkinsons brain maybe...).  [crying] [crying] [crying] [crying] [crying] [crying] [crying]

that...was...hillarious...I've never seen anything like it

no, seriously, is what I just saw humanly possible?

one own goal, God's sake

two own goals in ninety minutes, crying out loud

three own goals in ninety minutes, fuck me

three own goals in the same half, that's serious

three own goals in seven minutes? no comment...

well, at least Sunderland now hold the record for something  [hihi]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

we got a good draw with Chelsea today, Zola scored a fucking great goal to make it even

apparantly Keller played really well too
