Could be the next Lee Hughes.

On a different note, can anyone tell me what they think of our two new signings - Anthony Barness and Bojan Djordic.

Djordic is pish. Couldn't even cut it in the scottish premier league.

And suker's agent was shot.

I think it's fine as long as another team doesn't lose their place.

Well, it's come at a kind of weird time, seeing as they only just changed it that the holders on International tournaments don't automatically qualify....

...That said, the above actually benefits the holders.

So, regarding the Champions League, I have no major problem with it.

it's better that winners of major championships have to qualify for the next tournament. It means they don't have to spend two years playing meaningless friendlies - and with the crappy seeding system, there's never any chance they won't qualify again. Plus it frees up an extra space for other teams to qualify, and the australasian group is deserving of an automatic spot.

Plus scotland need as many opportunities to qualify as possible.

Yeah guys...

...Hence I said that the winners not automatically qualifying is actually better for them.  ok

Geez - is the transfer market slow or what? Has any one signed anyone significant yet? I don't remember the summer months being so quiet as they have been this year - there aren't even the rumours of big moves.

Man U?

Man Utd got Van der Saar

He's good keeper but i don't think he's what Man Utd should have gone for, though i imagine his price was the decisive factor

they could've had niemi for 2 million which is hardly a lot of money.
