In 2003 Barhez made Ronaldo a hero
In 2004 Tim Howard made Mourinho a top-class manager
In 2005 it was Caroll's turn
I CAN'T FUCKIN TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!! Buy Cassilias, gat Schmeichel out of retirement, do something, Mr. Ferguson!!
I just want United eliminated fair and square, by a clearly stronger side, not by retarded keepers

I just want Arsenal to...oh why bother?
Wenger called tuesday night Arsenal's worst ever Champions League performance. Good, he's passed phase one (admitting when Arsenal play badly), now he needs to work on phase two (introducing alternative tactics to just trying to pass it through the middle of the team). I
swear
there used to be a time when Arsenal played to the wing, instead of going down the middle every. single. time.
I don't think Chelsea played badly at all last night. Before the sending off they were well in control - defending comfortably and slaughtering Barca on the counter attack. I don't think the red card knocked their confidence too much, but it gave Barca's a huge boost, and in the end they could have scored more than just two. I had half the bar glaring at me when I cheered at Barca's equaliser.
I still think Chelsea have a good chance with home advantage in the second leg. My tip before the first game was for Barca to go through, and I still stand by that, but the next leg is gonna be very different. Man U look to be in big trouble now, as do Arsenal, but neither of those ties are over just yet.

I was gunna put 2 quid on Barca winning 2-1 but the bookies near the pub was closed!!
Chelsea were in control till the ridiculous sending off! Then I would have put Cole and Duff up front, but have them well spread, so Barca would have probably left all their back 4 back so as not to leave any of their defenders 1 on 1 with either of those 2, then the extra man wouldn't really have counted!

I think it was deserved - Drogba just rammed his shoulder into the goalkeeper - i'd have said that was worth a second yellow.
Besides Drogba is SHITE.
Shite players just deserve to be sent off so they no longer offend our eyes - 25 mill? They'd be lucky to recoup his plane fare.

I think the performance is what should worry Arsenal...Not the result.
That away goal was HUGE. Seriously, as big as that <---
At 0-3, you needed to score
four
at Highbury, without conceeding. Five if you did.
Now you just need to win 2-0. Easy. Easy, easy, easy.
And United will win.
I'm confident all three will go through, and that Chelsea still have a very good chance.
I'm assuming that none of you watched the United Milan game then.
Let's forget the goal for a minute. It was great. Much more entertaining than that Chelsea Barca shite.

I doubt any of you care, but last night Steaua Bucharest eliminated the Uefa Cup holders Valencia out of the competition!!!!!!!!! They cancelled the 2-0 lead Valencia had from the first leg and wot the penalty shootout!!
That really got my mind off Carrol

Predictions fro Liverpool v Chelsea
I gotta go for 1-0 to Liverpool, Chelsea were absymal against Barcelona, totally bankrupt of ideas and remarkably lazy off the ball
I dare say both teams will play ultra defensilvely so i doubt it will be a spectacle....

3-1
I don't think Chelsea did deserve to win, Liverpool were careless - at best. Steven Gerrard won the match, well done mate. Maybe someone should tell him his contract with Chelsea starts in June?
Mourinho's abuse of Carragher was shameful - the FA have to take a stand against that.

Did either of you watch the match?!
It was 3-2.
We were all watching the same match, wern't we?
The updates of Mourinho watching the game from the media room were hillarious.
It was actually not a bad match. I hate Drogba and Makalele even more though. I can't stand either of them.
Oh, and how freakin' biased is Andy Gray? Answer. Very.

Opps yeah 3-2, soz, typo.
The ref was incredibly biased to Chelsea - Hyppia's yellow card was outrageous.
Both sides played terribly. Liverpool sat back begging Chelsea to score - and Chelsea are so rubbish they needed new signing Steven Gerrard to help them out despite all their possesion.
Drogba and Joe Cole are laughably bad. Not even Scunthorpe would have them in their team. Andy Cole always needed 9 chances to get a goal, i think Drogba could be getting to about 18 per goal - 25 million......
Talk about a one man team - no Robben=no goals, and thats after a zillion pounds spent. Barcelona should teach them a further lesson in football next week too.

Here's hoping.
Did anyone see the Arse scrape through on penalties the other day? Viera had a truely terrible game (one of his worst of the season, which is saying something), but other than that I think we did pretty well to hang on. Nice to know we have penalty takers ready for the Bayern game, just in case.
I read an article in Zoo about how Henry and Reyes hate each other, and I believe every word of it. With the whole Spanish coach making racist remarks fiasco, nobody really stopped to think why saying "You're better than that black shit" might be motivational. Reyes was obviously whining about how mean Henry is to him. I had noticed that whenever Henry is celebrating a goal, he always pushes Reyes away when he goes to congratulate him, so I kinda already had it figured out, but it's damn annoying. They should be pulling together at this point, not being dicks to each other.

Meh, Vierra wasn't that bad.
In my opinion, he seemed to be what was driving your team. Without him, you probably would've lost that game. But that's always true of a great captain, extremly motivational even when having an awful game.
Nice win for Spurs yesterday. The first half was a bit sketchy, but as Robinson said before the game, forest showed that they were very lucky to get a draw against us at the lane. They're a very poor team at the moment. Never looked like scoring.
Brown has been great for us this season, I can't wait to see what him and Carrick can produce when they've played together for a little while longer. I wasn't too sure about him when he first broke through, but he's really showing his worth now.

Just got back from Aston Villa v Middlesborough
I have never been so cold in my life. It was ungodly. And i was in a bit without a cover, i endured rain, snow and hail for 90 mins - but i did get to take part in the ''Ellis Out'' demonstrations so i ain't complaining.
Truly dismal game football wise, Boro are horrendous - but Villa won and comfortably (Boro didn't manage ONE chance)
Yes i am aware that i go to every ground except Anfield....but as they have no tickets for their fans i have to adopt other clubs which now include Wolves, Villa and Luton.

Well, why not go see other teams? I would if I could/could be arsed!
Then again I don't go see Leeds that often, I really should go more!

Ur quite lucky, Leeds never sell all their tickets so u can get there is u want - Liverpool seem to have sold every ticket a year in advance, even Craling Cup matches are next to impossible to get to.

Horrah Everton lost
Just 8 points in it and we have a game in hand now - if we beat them in the derby too.....
We can do it...oh gawd these are worrying times. Everton have always been something for us to get 6 points off in a season and now they are after our champions league place....
