Well, Izzy, the two of us couldn't have been more wrong.
I burst out laughing when Mellor's goal went in. Firstly because I just couldn't believe it, and secondly because my Arsenal supporting brother was in the room.
And you were scared about having him up front.
This is now Arsenals worst run in four years. And, as my dad so delicatly put it just now, it's because they're playing too many tarts at once. And it is definatly true. You never used to have Pires, Reyes
and
Fabregas all playing at once. If the wind was too strong, you'd only have 8 players on the pitch.
You need some more proper English grit and determination in your side, like a Sol Campbell or Rio Ferdinand that could play in the centre of midfield. Steven Gerrard would do nicely.
But you just can't play all these physically weak players at the same time for much longer, the likes of Pires and Fabers who cannot defend to save their life.

Just couldn't believe it - stunned is the word
We played superbly, and were unlucky not to have that penalty, but when Viera scored i thought 'here we go again - last 2 seasons all over again' but right at the death....
Magically stuff, and Neil Mellor, there's growing promise there! To have achieved the win without Cisse, Baros and Garcia shows the team has hidden depth.
Nice one lads!

And that's not hard
Looks like Chelski have bought their Premier League trophy this year
Sad to say this, but I think I'd rather Man Utd win.. I just cant stand watching Roman playing his little game of Championship Manager with his extra pocket money.

"People think they know about football, but they do not"
His quote was something along those lines at the beggining of the season.
Twat.
Me and my brother quote it to each other all the time when we differ in opinion when watching a game, because we thought it was so funny that he would say such a fucking stupid thing.

Why is that stupid? A lot of people think they know football when they know shit!
He is a prooven winner, one of the best managers in the world and he knows it, I see no problem with that. People say he is arragont, really he is just self confident, which is whjat is wrong with a lot of people in this country, no confidence in their own ability.

What? If you wern't critical of how Chelsea were playing football at the beggining of the season, then I find it hard to see you being a real football fan.
If we played like that on a regular basis, or for a run of games, then I as a fan would complain.
I don't know if you remember the quote, so maybe you can't put it in context?
I'll help you.
Chelsea were playing boring football, and wern't looking like the money that was spent.
People began to say that Chelsea were boring football, and wern't looking like they were worth the money spent.
Our good friend Jose said, in regards these commments, that the people commenting don't know about football.
My opinion on it? Laughable.
Oh, he'll get the results, and win the trophies. I don't care. It just gives the rest of us a bigger challenge. And thus a much sweeter payoff. If Spurs ever, ever achieve anything near what Chelsea probably will this season, after all the hard times we've been through, as a fan I know that I will enjoy it infinitly more than any Chelsea fan ever could.

Dunno why but i watched Man U v Arsenal - absymal. I didn't see one player on the pitch good enough for the premiership, and that's being kind - the truth is there wasn't a player on display better than the man on the street. I'd release the whole damn bunch on a free transfer 'Arsene's little gems' fuck off.

Villa V Liverpool this weekend.
With Hendrie, our most attacking midfielder and sadly our in-form player, and the only one who is understanding the word 'movement' out, we are going to struggle. I'm hoping young Steven Davis plays, he seems to be a really lively player. With the likes of Barry, Hitzlesperger, McCann etc. it could get quite defensive and dull.
My prediction: 0-0

Ahh, but a Gooner could argue that any of Arsenes little gems are good enough already to not require this kind of run around.
We lost on penalties.
Who are we, England.

I have come up with a solution.
Over the years, I've seen my team, liverpool falter like a bunch of
?. This has been very depressing for myself. However, recently, I have started beliening that Liverpool is a shitty team and i expect shitty results. When Live beat assenal my hypothesis was proved correct.
Now, every liverpool fan after me, say "Liverpool is the shit!"

The whole idea of football is winning matches which is what Chelsea were doing, yea sure it wasn't the most entertaining way but that has started to come now, he had to get the defence sorted out first. I don't understand these days why people only want to see goals, football isn't just about attacking and scoring, it's as much about defending.
It's like cricket, people only want to see runs scored or else it's boring, so they bring in twenty20. It's about a lack of understanding about the sport which bores people when the really exicting things aren't happening.

We both know the quality was abysmal.
Yes it was better than England/Spain - but then i'd release all of them too

Heh.
Yeah, the quality of the game was pretty terrible, but that's no reason to forget that these kids beat the same Everton side that has got to third in the table this season, and Man City. I think playing Phil Neville at the back was really cowardly of Alex Ferguson - his experience made a huge difference to them.
