Oh, are the internationals over?? Great, back to the games that matter.
We think alike
I resent internationals as a whole week without premiership football
England are shockingly bad - and what pisses me off is this fuckin' retard's who try and defend their performances - they have 11 of the world's best players and yet shite from the far corners of the known world are a match for them?

Sven is destroying England's best generation since 66! I'm not talking about qualifying matches,I'm talking about Euro 2004 and WC 2002,when I saw a team with 10 fantastic players play a pointless defensive tactic. My God,having a midfield with Becks,Lampard,Scholes and Gerrard and not using their incredible creativity is a fuckin crime!! Just like having an Owen-Rooney duo and leaving them alone far in front when the rest of the team has its ass well planted in their penalty box.
People said Becks sucked at Euro 2004,but how could he play well when, for 90% of the time he was a fuckin right-back??!

When Arsenal lose, although I think they won't go into such a decline as they have done in the past, they will definatly start to lose more often, at least.
And I have good hopes for United in Europe, I'm going to put a tenner on them to go all the way in the Champions, I would love to see them runners up in the league, but I am undecided, and I could easily see them winning the FA Cup again.
Spurs aren't playing untill Monday, which is good because I can probably coincide it with my evening out.

Why isn't anybody describing our early season run as record-breaking? Everything else we do seems to end up breaking records - surely 8 wins and a draw from the first 9 games has to be the best start ever? [/smug mode]
Yesterday was a great day for Arsenal, what with Chelski losing and Utd drawing. Also, exactly a week before the Arsenal/Utd game (and absolutely perfectly on schedule), Alex Ferguson has made some snide comment about Arsenal. If he thinks what happened last season was soooo discraceful, then why the heck is she trying to reignite the argument? Oh wait, cause he's a cunt.
I would
love
to reach 50 games unbeaten with a win over Man U, but then I guess they'd just as much love to end our run. I'm really not sure where to put my money on this one, so I guess a draw is probably the best bet.

Doesn't look like Healy will be coming to Leeds as they have rejected a ?600,000 offer from Leeds!
Do they not realise they can and probably will lose him for nowt at the end of January! Healy want's to play for Leeds and Leeds want him so if they continue to turn down our very reasonable offers I wuld piss 'em off and get Healy to sign a pre contract agreement with Leeds in January and get him for nowt in the summer!
And in the meantime get a youngster or a loan player in!

Portsmouth are fucking twats.
Ugh, we played shit towards the end of the game.
I don't want to talk about it.
We should definatly be beating teams like that.

What you mean is the bullshit premiership games? Perhaps if Henry wasn't such a bottler in Europe and in internationals, you'd be more of a fan?

I love European games, it's just internationals I find boring. I'm not remotely patriotic, so I don't particularly care how England do (except in World Cups and stuff, because they're fun). I also don't find it fun to watch football that has been thrown together quickly after a couple of friendlies and a training session or two - there's no collective thinking and the football is patchy and predictable and, at the end of the day, the team I actually care about isn't playing.
All internationals are is a distraction.

Leeds were 1-1 at half time, not too bad for an away trip to Reading, so far!

1-1 in the end for Leeds! Pretty good result for us at Readihng, cos they are a very good side!
It appears we're still in for David Healy, lets hope Preston grow up and accept a sensible offer soon!

Blah, another poor Champions League performance. It didn't help that the pitch was so slidey, it didn't help that the Greeks were all cheating bastards, it didn't help that we've got Lemon in goal - but still, we should play better than that.
The only person who will have enjoyed watching that game was Alex Ferguson.

And used illusions.
Although, saying that, I didn't actually watch it properly, I was going through all the games.
I can't wait untill the knock out stages this year, I just hope that they're better than last year....Almost every team last year under-performed, and the final was shite. Porto were a horrible team to watch, a horrible team to be crowned champions in my opinion.
Internationals, waste of time? Distraction?
You suck.

I suppose club football wouldn't be as interesting for a Spurs fan.

You should have seen Pires against Eire, guy was barely on his feet the whole match. I really dislike him.
Healy is gonna tear Forest apart tomorrow.

Pires is one of those types of continental players who dives a lot! Very very talented though
Leeds really need to get Healy asap.

The definition of irony
Spending 60 million on new strikers - only for the guy u started with to still get picked, score and get ahead of the others in the pecking order
Well done Chelsea - let's not say that money was wasted - cos there are various Italian and French teams that have done very well out of all this.
