I think Viera will probably leave at the end of this season, with all the shit that's happened, his heart obviously isn't with Arsenal. If he does go, I think Gerrard will probably replace him, because he looks like he'll be leaving unless miracles happen. If Viera decides he actually wants to play for Arsenal then Gerrard will probably go to Madrid, as that seems to be the trend with all the England players at the moment...

Steven's drumming made the band; he made a big musical difference. His sense of swing was the push and pull that gave those songs their feel, afterwards, nothing worked.

I don't think Gerrard will go to Madrid - not after the way Beckham and Owen started.
I think Gerrard would be much better for us than Viera, on current form. Gerrard isn't clumsy, and can open play up terrifically, which Freddie would luurrvvee. Also, we wouldn't have to worry about Highbury being too small to squeeze his ego into.
Brilliant result today. If it had been another 1-0 win, the pressure would still be on us. What we rreeaallllyy needed to restore confidence and moral was a complete slaughtering, and that's what we got.

Yes!!!!!!! An incredibly rich Lithuanian just bought Hearts. So not only has he gotten rid of our hated chief executive, he's promised to clear our ?20M of debt, build a new stadium for us rather than sell our ground and RENT Murrayfield and give us ?10M to buy new players. Add to that the fact that we qualified for the group stages of the EUFA Cup this week and you've got one extatically happy Hearts fan.
He's not quite as rich as Abramovich; but to be fair the SPL's not quite as good as the Premiership so i think the two should even out.

Well, with Rangers in debt up to their eyeballs, hopefully they'll implode, which it seems like they're doing. Maybe you guys can challenge the celts. I might actually watch a match if someone else actually wins the league. How boring can you get?

Don't get me started, i'm 19 and have no recollection of what it's like to see someone outside the old firm win the league. I was twelve before i saw anyone but rangers win it. And up untill last summer my 11 yr old brother had no recollection of anyone outside the old firm winning a trophy.
I want the old firm to go to england just so the SPL will be competitive. Hopefully with this lithuanians money we can forego the unpleasant business of kicking the bigots in glasgow out and just win the league.
This all seems to perfect right now; somethings gonna go wrong. Life can't be this good.

Meh, the SPL is just like our division 2 (read: Coca Cola Championship league 1) but with a different accent. Oh, and two teams that would struggle in our Premiership, just to make it "interesting".
If Celtic and Rangers wern't in the league, I'd be more willing to watch it, because it would have a different flavour.
Spurs picked up another win today, good win, especially as we didn't conceed.
Okay, so Everton were all over us at times (I just watched the extened highlights), but that was more due to the fact of them playing well than us badly. And our defending, for the most part, was yet again excelent.

I can remeber the shit that happened with Mo Johnston. I dunno how long ago that was, but it was fucking funny.
Aberdeen have been doing well this season, and I seriously do believe them or you guys can beat Rangers for second spot, coz they're shit, and I fucking hate them.

I'm pretty sure Hearts would be a succesful Coca-Cola Championship side. We've got the scotland goalie (it was Southampton's Annti Niemi), 2 of the 3 first choice scotland centre halves, a scottish international left back, an irish international right back (and in the last few years we've had Gary Naysmith, Paul Ritchie and David Weir). And thats just the defence....
I'd honestly like to know how many non-premiership sides could make comfortably through to the group stages of the eufa cup on such a small budget.

A fair few, given that the teams in the qualifying for the groups stages is really ridiculous in some cases.
Sunderland, West Ham, Leeds, Ipswich...
...Brighton??
But you're right, it was a good achievment.?
It's just, while your top teams do posses some genuine quality, the teams that prop up your table make it hard to watch the league sometimes, becaus they really are thw standard of the conference.

thats just sheer ingorance talking there. true, the standard towards the end of the legue is weaker but to compare it to what is the englsih 5th division is ludicrous.

Man United failed to win yet again.Middlesborough isa good team, but this lack of concentration really annoys me. Smith saved their ass once again!

That they did.
I was very, very pleased with the win we picked up at Goodison. Right now, I really do have the feeling that this will be our best ever Premiership season yet.

I bet Rooney didn't expect to go to Man U and find Everton above them. haha.
Man U seriously need some fucking defenders. The team is a shadow of it's former self, their reputation is all but gone. In my opinion, it's because of all the foreigners. Back when Man U were on top of the world, the heart of their team came up through their youth ranks. Seems to have worked for Arsenal though...

Foreigners like Ronaldo and Van Nistelrooy?
Man U aren't slowing down because they have more foreign players, it's purely because they don't have any good central midfielders.

That's what I think aswell, although they do have a lot of meidocre (sp) foreign players like Silvestre who just isn't good enough, although your good foreigners are very good (Van noodle-roy) But i do hate that Ronaldo twat, he just does step overs and dives!

I think every top clubs needs two or three English (type) players in their club - Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal seem to be sticking to this rule.
Come on the spurs! Not you Arsenal!
