Arsenal is still winning, but it seems to me they've slowed down a little bit.

Yeah, we could never carry on a streak quite like that. We need to get a nice, steady flow going now, so we don't suddenly have a huge dip in form like we did two years ago.
I have decided that, if Chelski do get another good result in Europe this week, they will officially be my tip for the tournament. It's sad to say it, but they really do seem to seriously believe they will win it, and it's that kind of confidence that Arsenal have always lacked.

Oh yeah!!!! United's new wonderkid scored a hattrick on his debut!! Looks like Smith and Saha are gonna spend a lot of time on the subs bench this season. That unless Fergie is gonna do what he did last season with Cristiano Ronaldo, not playing him in every match, avoiding having him pressured at such a young age. Fergie knows best...

Very impressive from Utd, although that Turkish team looked absolutely dreadful at the back, let's not read into this

The wall should stopped the free kick, it went straight between two players' heads. But nevertheless, that was quite an impressive hat trick. He did look tired towards the end though, but that's understandable really.
Does anyone else think than if Man U want to seriously challenge for the european cup they need to get rid of Silvestre and Heinze, and find two new defenders? Because Silvestre just plain sucks, and Heinze didn't impress me at all last night. And as good as Rooney is, the Italian teams aren't gonna let you score 6 past them.

Steven's drumming made the band; he made a big musical difference. His sense of swing was the push and pull that gave those songs their feel, afterwards, nothing worked.

I think Heinze looks pretty promising, but I agree Silvestre is second rate.
After watching the highlights of all the games last night, it really was an absolute shocker for the defenders. Man U let in two soft goals, the Turks sucked to high heaven, Liverpool were appauling, Real Madrid were shoddy and Roma were no better. With the exception of Juve and Monaco, there was very little to fear from an Arsenal/Chelski point of view.

Heinze looks like a great left back, very useful in both the left-central part of the defence and the left wing.
Silvestre had a miserable season so far. I see a Rio-Wes Brown partnership in the near future(when G.Neville returns from injury). Oh,I forgot O'shea!!

Same old Arsenal...
As one of my Sky Sports friends said "It should have been a formality."
1-1...It could have been worse. Drawing away from home in the Champions League isn't terrible...Just worse than would have been expected

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Still, 1-1 really isn't bad at all, against one of the stronger teams in the group. I'm not worried...yet.
Chelski, again, looked more confident and clinical in the Champions Leage. It's
aaalllllllll
about confidence.

What?
Phil Neville came up through the youth squad, so Fergie didn't sign him.
Fergie has also signed Cantona, York, Van Nistelroy, Smith...Rooney? in his time. Once again, the list goes on...
Oh, and by your logic, he also signed Beckham....

My God,are you actually questioning Ferguson's ability to sign good players?
? ManU is probably the most inspired club in Europe.Other big clubs spend many many millions of dollars on supposedly high-rated players that never deliver.
And Forlan won United their last title, scoring crucial goals against Arsenal,Liverpool and Chelsea

Argh, should have fucking cashed in on Viera when we had the chance!
Since he's come back from injury, our form's dipped, and now he's picking fights to cover for his own shortcomings. I agree Lauren was partly at fault for the goal, but the goal had been coming for a long time because of our remarkable inability to attack in the Champions League. Maybe Viera, as captain, should have been the one pushing us forward, encouraging the second goal and trying to raise our spirits. What kind of captain blames an entire game on one player??
I know we dunno what actually happened yet, but I don't think I really need to know. I've got the jist. The cheek of the guy, for him to talk about loyalty to the club when he spent the entire summer longing to get as far away from it as possible. Now he's back in the team, and with him comes a couple of below-parr Champions League games and an embarassingly unprofessional argument with one of our most hard-working players. Pathetic.
