I don't really care how many England players we have in the team.  Liverpool and Newcastle can have them, we'll have the good players. Wink

Anyway, we have Campbell and Cole in the first team every week, that's two internationals.  More than Bolton, anyway.

Henry is awesome.  Completely killed Leeds, and it's nice to see him making up for his poor form against Chelsea/Man U.  Without trying to be patronising, methinks you only dislike him cause he's good. Tongue

Van Der Bommel is having talks with Spurs, rock on.

Is he another striker?  You've got loads of those already.

Nice to see Chelea squirm.  I still think they're going through, but it was good that Makalele's cheating backfired on them.

**Honesty Spurt**

Henry is the best player that i have ever seen!

Ive been watching football for some 13 years and i have never seen anything quite like him, hes quick as fuck, skillfull as fuck, strong as fuck, he got Va Va Voom....hes got a hell of a shot and everyone would love to have him in the team.

Bow down to the best player in the world...Lets face it....Zidane won it this year because hes a midfielder for Madrid and people will always go for a creative midfielder rather than a Striker or Winger as Henry really is!

Credit to Arsene Wenger must go there....Turning Henry from a Half Decent winger into the worlds best player!

Yeah, I'm glad Arsenal won. Manu are nothing like what they used to be...I wonder why *cough* because Beckham's gone *cough* And I never want Chelsea to win anything until they get rid of that stupid Russian. I'm glad they lost to Monaco as well.

On to the more important issue, the one on everybody's mind...are Swindon going to win the Division 2 play-offs?  nervous

I think that on Sunday, that was the only North London derby you will ever see where both teams are celebrating at the end of the match.  Wink

Great comeback from us, we deserved both the penalty and the equaliser.

The second half of the game showed that we've got heart, and that if Jamie can, if keeps playing consistently and regularly, still be one hell of a player.

Well done to Arsenal...

...Impressive season...

They're still pricks though, and Vierra is a twat.

A draw with a team of that calibure is a great result for us, given our confidence recently.

You've got to give it to Nigel Worthington, he's the best manager ever! (I'm not just saying that because he's from my home town, and used to play for my beloved Ballymena UTD.)
With Phil Mulryne and Paul McVeigh heading to the premiership next season, they'll make Henry look like Andrei Silenzi.
And let's all hope Worthington spends his cash wisely and brings Europes best striker, David Healy, to Norwich.

Everything Louder Than Everything Else

« Reply #748 on: April 28, 2004, 02:59:29 PM »

LOL.  Chelsea are gonna buy Beckham and Ronaldo.  Man U are screwed nest season.  Arsenal have a waaay better team than them, and so do Chelsea even though Crespo and Mutu are obviously shit but Ronaldo will sort out that... nervous

Also, Arsenal you need a goalkeeper.

Jens Lehman is the crappest idiot to put on a pair of gloves.  I think he's worse than Barthez...and that's difficult.

Chelsea are a joke - They just threw their money away

The amount they have wasted, paying way over the odds - Crespo and Mutu just haven't impressed - so what do they do - try for Ronaldo and Becks........ Roll Eyes

Anyway next year will be Liverpool's year - with Houllier sacked we will be back on track, and if Owen leaves, meh - maybe we will get someone that scores goals.....

Here's a first

Liverpool's main shareholder is: Thailand

Hmmm.....

Thailand, and not the prime minister as first thought have bought 30% of the club from David Moores who owned 51%.

Bizarre.

The money to buy the stake came from taxes........

What this means for my beloved club is unclear....

Aston Villa missed out on the UEFA cup spot to Newcastle  Angry Still, as O'Leary says, we probably arent ready for Europe..

I think Liverpool should definately get rid of Houllier.. I dont rate him at all.. Although with a new manager.. and if he has money to spend.. its to tough at the top now.

Haha! And that team is Birmingham Shitty!

Funnily enough, the best ive ever seen of Heskey is against Villa at Villa Park playing for Leicester.. he destroyed us.. crap day overall.. I had to sit in the old Trinity Road stand (the one that's just been rebuilt) which was the most uncomfortable couple of hours ever.. my knees were crammed against the seat in front.. and I stood on a chicken pie and it went all over my foot and leg  hihi

Who will play alongside Owen next season?  Huh
