This Wednesday we have almost a Champions Leage final eventhough it's a semifinal, Bar?a - Internazionale....
As a Bar?a supporter I know that's gonna be difficult to go to the final. But what if Bar?a has one of those magic nights like the one against Arsenal??
Camp nou can collapse...
so I bet Bar?a is gonna win...
So what do you guys "bet"? (I know that here there's at least one Bar?a Supporter, I also know that there are many people whishing that Bar?a loses...)
In my opinion I'm 99% sure that Inter is gonna play really closed at defense... It's gonna be a really hard game!!!

What a disspointment. In all fairness, all the credit to Mouhrino. He knows Bar?a very well and did what he had to do in order to go to the final.
Inter defended very well and Bar?a was not able to find any open spaces in 90 minutes against a team playing with 10 (by the way, Motta will always be the most stupid, brain-less player I've seen). It's really a shame, I thought after the goal, we were going pull another one, but not even a glimpse.
Bar?a needs a few new players to cover some weak areas...Keit? and Tour? can't play together. One has to go...Pedro - which has scored some very important goals this season - should come off the bench. Milito and Maxwell are not even decent left wingers, Alves would be a better play if he actually used his brain a little bit (no wonder why Macon is the starting right winger from Brazil) and Ibrah...well, I'd have never signed Ibra for that amount of $. I don't know why we didn't go for villa.
Anyway, this is me just ranting...we had a good year, played great football but lost when it matters the most. Oh well...hopefully we will still win "la liga" athough Real Madrid is pushing hard.

Barcelona dissapointed me because they didn?t act as the "big" club they claim to be when it comes to losing with respect. Why the fuck did they turn on the water when Inter is celebrating?

I loved seeing portugal beat Spain 4-0, especially after the World Cup and all.
Ronaldo's disallowed goal was unfortunate but the offside player also had a responsibility to not get involved in the play, but he did. I think Portugal are still going to be a strong force in future tournaments, especially Euro 2012 with Brazil and Argentina absent.

I've always said after they get rid of Queiroz (their coach) they can be a good team. Just need to find one striker to support Ronaldo/Nani/Simao up front and there you have it. And I still think Spain is overrated.

Absolutely, Spain are definitely built up to be more than they are. In the World Cup, all of their matches was ordinary and nothing special. And they kept on winning by getting that extra goal, and really just getting abit of luck.
I remember one match, I think it was against Chile. Where it could of gone either way, and they got outplayed by them. I think Spain are above average, but they are not as good as Brazil, Argentina, Germany or Portugal in my view.

It's so funny how some people view this GAME (yeah it's a GAME believe it or not).
I was neutral and don't really care much for any of the clubs, but that good/evil crap that's just stupid.
Also that last minute tackle by Ramos deserves at least a 10 match ban.

Especially when somebody who says that comes from Croatia (currently number 7 on FIFA rankings), and knows more info about football and players for the past decade and a half than you'll ever see or hear in your life.
Football was something like 10-15 years ago, now it's just a statistical analysis on how much money does each club spend on players.
I don't know if it's because I'm getting older and have other stuff to deal with in life, but something definitely ruined this sport for me. I mean I still watch it whenever there's a big game, and on weekends I watch it like 10 hours a day (all the big leagues that is) and know shit load about but I really stopped caring about it.
Before it was a spectacle to watch matches like Roma - Lazio (especially at the start of the millenium when Roma had Totti and Batistuta), and of course Real - Barcelona or Real - Bayern in Champions league but those times are over now I guess.
I'll always be a fan of the game and watch it whenever I have free time but I just stopped caring about teams. Only cheer for my national team (Croatia), the German national team and maybe Arsenal, they still have the old system with Wenger and develop players unlike other teams. Also I cheer for Dinamo Zagreb (best club in Croatia) of course you have to cheer for your "local" club.

The FIFA Raking is a pile of horsecrap, but that's a different story.
I support my club in the stadium every 2nd week, sometimes on away matches. So everytime i hear people say it's just a game, i have to laugh very hard. Because those who really love this sport and love their club know, that it's more than just a game.
To quote former Liverpool manager Bill Shankly:
?Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more serious than that.?

Well no matter how much you/we hate it, it's the only official list that shows which team is the best or is in the best form at the moment in the world. And a country of 4,5 million people to be in the top 10 for the last decade or so is a pretty good accomplishment.
Like I said some people/clubs ruined it for me in the last couple of years and it all went in a wrong direction and I don't know if it will ever be as it was before.

Croatia has a pretty good team, yes. But that list is still crap. Just the modus on how the national teams get their points is just ridiculous. But as i said thats a different topic.
What clubs ruined it for you?
