18m for Keane??
18 million?
What the hell is wrong with this world?
He is shite, rubbish, crap, useless
18 million would have bought one of the finest strikers in Europe!
He's 28, he's peaked - he'll be gone by 30
What the hell?!?!?

He'll be playing top-flight into his 30's. Playing in the hole behind Torres, he won't need to rely on pace as much anyway. I think it's a shrewd buy for Liverpool, and when you consider Andy Johnson today, has just signed for Fulham for ?11 million, it's not that pricey!!!

If Keane was 22 Liverpool would have been ripped off - 28?!?
He's geriatric!
Players peak 26-28, and then decline - so we've got him at his best for the next fornight
Rubbish player who's failed at everyone of the 30 clubs he's been at
Once AGAIN liverpool buy a striker to stick him out of position - Diouf, Cisse, Juyt and now Keane will play as midfielders when they are strikers thru and thru

Clearly Rafa doesn't know what the fuck he's doin then lol! ^
How has he failed at Spurs? Do they want him to leave.........no!!
He had to hand in a transfer request!
I understand your point about players peaking.....but there are enough players who break that mould.
Diouf and Cisse weren't Rafa's buys, he played them out of position because he didn't want them up front.
Kuyt, quite frankly was a revelation on the right flank towards the end of last season.

I'm a UTD fan and even though it Liverpool i think you're wrong. Keane is one of the most clever players around and i dont think his game has changed that much in the last 5 years nor do i think he'll change that much until he retires. He isn't electric fast and playing behind Torres will be dangerous and also means that Gerrard won't have a designated marker and therefore i beleive he is more dangerous too.
Was he worth the money. Probally not. But who is these days? and its all relative if Liverpool go and win the league he is worth every penny. Buying youth is fine but if it wins you nothing you might as well by old.
I'm not sure Berbatov is worth 32 million but thats what Tottenham want! players that can win you games.. you might as well add 8 to 10 million to their value and double that if its Chelski

I feel sorry for NUFC fans. It's just a revolving door for managers there at the moment.

Ooooh what a game it was! So close, so close, but then there was this fucking Klose with his 3 goals. Well, 3-3 wasn't bad against the silver team of Euro 2008. Great atmosphere too

Great result for England tonight, although I expect the band waggoning know nowts to be out in full force tomorrow. We were a clueless bunch of prima donnas on Saturady occording to the media, no better than under Mclaren, 5 days later the same media will be proclaiming them 'heroic lions' etc....
Pleasing to see Walcott take his chance with both hands, you can almost hear the Beckham era closing the door behind him on it's way out.
