I know what people think about the Carling Cup, but DAMN it was nice to watch the Spurs game the other night!

Who gives a shit WHAT it was! 5-1 is a thrashing regardless of who you're playing...

... Or what team they put out. It was very satisfying to hear Wenger talking shit at the end, about how the score didn't reflect what happened on the pitch...

... He was kind of right though. We should have had a couple more.

You what? Mellberg ain't a bad player by any stretch.

i know he's not bad, but when i think of him i don't think of juventus material, but i hope he gets to play so that he plays good in the Euro championships  yes

What a bunch of great matches Today for the champions.. Go Barca. I m Glad Ronaldinho is back from the start. Messi is definitely the best player in the world and C.Ronaldo is following real close. I also thought Arsenal deserved a better result. We'll see in two weeks how everything turns out.. GO BARCA

i have to disagree, it was only celtic so dont get carried away, messi took his goals well but the defending for his second was nothing but a joke

I think Celtic's second goal was Valdes' fault. when he realized he was too far out of the goal it was too late. Great goal anyway. and How abt Henry's goal? one word to describe it. Awesome. Milan on the other hand is dissapointing me. Kaka is not even close to his best form as he was last year. Pato has a great future. But not yet ready foe such an important match. Anyone knows what happened to Dida?

Awful, simply awful...Alan Smith's similar injury was a mistake, but Taylor should be banned until Eduardo plays again...

how long do u think it could take for something like that to heal and for the player to go back.. I'd say somewhere between 1 to 2 years ?/

hihi I think King Kev's about ready to abdicate.

The Eduardo injury looked horrible, it'll be years before he's back to anything like the player he was if at all. Deserved a red, perhaps not the lifetime ban Wenger called for after the game though. Sadly that kind of tackle has become a weekly event in the premiership recently, it was only a matter of time until someone get seriously hurt.

Seeing Alan Smith today reminded me that he's not the player he was before that horrble injury, and probably never will be...Eduardo is a little younger, but I doubt he'll ever be Arsenal material ever again...
The only positive thing I can think of is that it didn't happen an year ago, he at least has a 4 year contract at a well paying club...

And yes, Newcastle is a fun team to play against !! Ronaldo just looked like he didn't bother at all, yet he scored a brace and set up an excellent Rooney goal...

I always liked Michael Owen, but today's tackle on Vidic was worse than Taylor's in my opinion, he should had recieved a straight red card...luckily Vidic is made of steel  Grin
