Seems like a good selection - the other thing i'd change was England's manager - Sven ya crap.

Okay guys Euro 2004 and THAT match with France is slowly creeping up on us so at this time, presuming everyone (except rio) is fit and available who do you think will make up a) the squad and b) the first team, heres mine
Goalkeepers - David James, Paul Robinson, Chris Kirkland
Defenders - Sol Campbell, Gary Neville, Wayne Bridge, John Terry, Matthew Upson, Glen Johnson, Jonathon Woodgate
Midfielders - David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Frank Lampard, Nicky Butt, Steven Gerrard, Scott Parker, Owen Hargreaves
Forwards - Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney, Jermaine Defoe, Emile Heskey, James Beattie
Robinson, Neville, Terry, Campbell, Bridge, Beckham (c), Scholes, Gerrard, Lampard, Owen, Rooney
My England starting 11: Yes ive changed my mind in the space of a day from James to Robinson!
Robinson
Neville Campbell Terry Cole/Bridge
Beckham Gerrard Scholes Barry
Owen Rooney
You forgot to include the young talent that is Gareth Barry and Jloyd Samuel in your squad
I like your other choices, cept Heskey

Go Chelsea?
I don't know my soccer well. Just going on who my Irish roommate from last year liked.

What a shit awful game.
But, at least Jermain was impressive.
The defending in the second half was dreadful, some of the passing was woeful and Sweden were just terrible throughout.
You won, congratulations...
...But you didn't look like a world beating side now, did you?
Now, neither did we, but lets put that down to lack of commitment or first team players...
Anyone see the Hungary Wales match...
Anybody get the joke...?
I found it funny.
Also, nice to see Robbie getting the winner for the Republic.
And Northern Ireland getting their first International win in, what, two and a half years?
"Estonia, I thought they only entered the Eurovision song contest?"

England play badly because they do not spend enough time together as a sqaud.
In saying that, i'm furious enough as it is with international friendlies and meetings, so I definately don't want any more of them. I already blame last week's games for Arsenal getting knocked out of the FA cup and, now that our confidence is down, i'll blame them if we lose to Chelski tonight.
Thing is, the team gets a rhythm going, and then internationals happen and our rhythm gets broken. Remember that really bad spell we had last season, that lost us the title? That started with a defeat to Everton, directly after a couple of England games. It happens every time and it really gets on my tits.

C'mon, they spend as much time together as any other international sqaud.

But most top clubs are full of international players, they all have to deal with it.

Hey, calm down Izzy. No need to worry, 'cause Swindon won 0-3 away from home for the second time in 6 days
Hell, I wish I was a Pompey fan today. I do live in Portsmouth, so it would make sense if I was, but...nah, Porstmouth is a crap place full of crap people.

If that.
Sol's the only worthwhile English player that they have.
Once again, Henry is an absoloute fucking prick and I hate him more than any other player in the premiership...
But against Leeds...
...
Wow.
Van Der Bommel is having talks with Spurs, rock on.
ps: on reflection, I hate Ray Parlour more, but only because he is a waste of space and he looks like Charlie Dimmock (sp? who cares).
Reyes is going to be fucking class in a couple of years.

Thanks for beating bristhole the other week, that did us a great favour! Us being the mighty Plymouth Argyle.
We're champions if we beat QPR on saturday and it would also give you a bit of a chance of getting 2nd place. I think it'll be a really interesting playoffs cos all the teams in it will be quite close. The rate we're going though it's still an outside possibility but I sohludn't be thinking like that!
COME ON YOU GREEEEEENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really did try and stop laughing.....
Its not over yet, it'll be a real shame if they go down their far to big a club to be in division one and u gotta wonder about their financial situation with premiership money coming in...
The rate my team, Liverpool, are going they'll probably be in division 1 soon too....
