Only Messi can claim to be a better youngster IMO.

Go ask any premership manager, player or pundit (basically people who know what they are talking about) and they will tell you how good he is.

He is quite simply Englands Main man. . . maybe with Gerrard but without Rooney england dont have a world class striker

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo can overcome their obvious lack of brains and focus on football, the world is theirs.

   So far this season, it seems that C. Ronaldo has done that, he's overcomed the pressure of his World Cup stunt and had some great games

Well, while Gerrard remains the best English player, he is yet to actually do much of any worth for the England team.

(Slight exaggeration, maybe, but come on. Internationally he is... well, small potatoes)
