Zlatan Ibrahimovic is lazy. If he had bothered to turn up to Germany, Sweden may have progressed further in the World Cup.
He does not work for the team, he expects everyone to work for him. He is bone idle.
Van Nistelrooy is not lazy. He is willing to track back and work for the team. Van Basten was the same.
Ibrahimovic should be reminded on a daily basis that there is no 'I' in 'team'.

"The club made Thierry feel wanted and special, wooing him, wining and dining him, speaking in public about how much they want him to stay, going on a deliberate charm offensive. But me? I didn't have one dinner, one meeting or one phone call from anyone. That's not sour grapes, it's just a sad truth. The truth is that the Gunners had done nothing all season to hold on to me."
I'm assuming you also read The Times serialisation of this crock of crap that is called an 'autobiography'.
Theirry was wined and dined because he is one of the best footballers in the world and didn't go and have an illegal meeting with Chelsea behind his employers backs.
Cashley Tweedy simply dined and whined.

thank you.
as for cashley, he seems to think the world owes him something.
surely if its pathetic for the arsenal board to quibble over 5k then its equally pathetic for him to do so. Although ashley's made it quite clear he thinks he special and that only certain rules apply to him. He'll fit right in at chelski then.

you called me dumb and stupid and that is commenting on my knowledge, therefore my knowledge of football.
you do realise you're arguing semantics in the same thread where you've admitted that you're english isnt as good as mine. it's your funeral.
and obviously i have something against zlatan - he's lazy.
no that's commenting your intellegence not your knowledge not the same thing you know... everything you know is about or have something to do with soccer?.. man stop using those words when you know i don't know what semantics or assumptions or what it was, what those mean i asked you what the words mean but you didn't answer.. i'm sure there are another word for almost the same thing.. i don't get why you still wanna talk about this shit one or two pages ago i wanted to act like an adult and end this discussion 'cause we're getting nowhere.. this is hopefully my last post about this arguement or what we should call it.. from now on i'm only gonna talk about soccer..
you don't wanna talk about football?

^^^ Yer, cos a pay rise from ?25,000 a week to ?55,000 a week is, as Cashley points out, "taking the piss".
On a different note, if you saw The Times, have you seen this:-

Congratulations Reading.
Dabo has had an absolute stinker of a season so far this year, probably been the worst player in the Premiership in my opinion, however, that wasn't a red card. His eyes were always on the ball, no malicious intent and he only caught him with his hand.

Reading today's instalment of Cashley Tweedy's book, I had to ask myself what drugs the kid is on.
He has accused Arsenal of tapping up players and has compared the scenario where Arsenal approached an agency who owned Gilberto Silva, asked if he would be interested in moving to Europe, and then proceeding to sign the player, to his illegal tea-party with Mourinho and Kenyon.
A lot of Arsenal fans would love it if the club sued Cashley over this crock of crap. But ultimately Cashley and Chelsea are perfectly suited to each other: Lack of class, tact and elegance on and off the pitch.
He is merely a bitter and sour individual completely oblivious to his own wrongdoings. And when his career is over, depsite all the money and medals he may have, he may one day mature enough to realise what a cock he was.

I love the whole Ashley Cole saga - most players claim they moved for medals etc - he doesn't even try and deny he moved for more money

I've been reading "How Soccer Explains The World" by Franklin Foer and it has a great chapter on the Rangers-Celtic rivalry. Puts sports rivalries here in the U.S. to shame.

Have you heard about that amazing story from Brazil where a ballboy scored a goal validated by the referee ? There's an outcry in Brazil since the goal can't be quashed.
Here is the video :
