I dont get Arsenal at all, they are playing shit
Yep, won't argue with you there.

Taylor will never ammount to anything more than a good division 1 keeper
Hmm, he's not bad, but you're right he's not spectacular.

Seaman passed it years ago
No he didn't. The guy's going through a bad patch because nobody's giving him a chance.

Shaaban has been thrown in at the deep end, no experience at all. Does Wenger really expect a keeper from Swedish part timers to be able to smoothly transist into Champ League football?
I think Shaaban has done brilliantly under the circumstances. Like you said, he was thrown in at the deep end, amd kept clean sheets in his first two games (difficult, difficult games). He's okay, but yeah, could be better.
I agree that we need a new, world class keeper. Problem is, I don't think getting a well-known keeper would suit us. We need a world class newbie, which means we could do with a bit of that Arsene Wenger talent-spotting magic.
On a separate note: I can handle a draw today. If Wiltord had just smashed in that chance in the end...it would've put us in such a fantastic position! We have to beat Ajax in the next game, which may be tough, cause they're looking suprisingly strong.

We do have some good swedes afterall. But Freddie should also had scored in the beginning of the second half...
And, btw...Newcastle has to wait 'til tomorrow to get their asses kicked

Hmm...Shaaban is Swedish/Egypt...and we in Sweden are EU-members so...
Shaaban has not been capped by Sweden, and I saw on teletext yesterday that Egypt had included in thier squad for afro cup quals. if he plays for Egypt which he is likely to, then he is inelegible for an EU place

Well, I really don't think that he'll play for Egypt. He has said that Sweden is the country that he want's to play for, so I really doubt that he'll play for Egypt.

I would just like to say that Manchester United played really well tonight and were more than worth the 2-0 victory.
I would also like to ask if there is a better all round striker in the world than Ruud Van Nistelrooy.... Coz i don't think there many, if any.
Newcastle played really well under the circumstances.... but WTF was Dyer doing on that post.... He is one of the players you would look to lead the team and that is unforgivable.
Ameobi was great.... whats all the fuss about him being crap?.... Although i think he and Shearer could never play together.
What everyone else think about tonight?

haha, i knew someone would question Shola, he was brilliant tonight, but when you see him play week in week out he just never seems to be alert at all, its embarassing sometimes. maybe it is cause he has played with shearer. anyway he doesnt usually play that well so just trust me, tonight was exeptional and you have prolly witnessed something special
dyer should be shot with shit. now robert, nothing new yet never ceases to amaze me how shit he can play, what a waste of talent, now shola, came through the ranks and rises to the occaision, ?10 bastard million worth of player, what does he do, same as usual shit all, this french man pisses me of badly.
well done man u

I'll take your word for it on Shola.
I agree Robert is either Hot or Cold..... I still think he should have played up front with Ameobi.
And thankyou yeah Man Utd are looking good thats 6 wins in a row [ok]

meh trust amn u to come up with it when it counts!
i was suprised that he started with both shola and lua up front cause neither have played much recently and neither are exactly earth shattering. i thought he may have started jenas in midfeild with dyer in front, robert could have been another good option, especially since he hasnt yet learned the english word 'defend', do they have defending in france? i'm pretty sure they do!

and liverpool wont get a sniff if they continue to play like they did today, they were nothing special and certainly didnt look like a team that 'claim' to be title contenders
even Sunderland showed them up [rofl]

Well the Arse were lucky to get that point.
Man Utd are doing really well..... if the get through the New Year without losing then i will believe we can do it... But the new year is real tricky.
I still think Arse are the best team in England.
HAHA sunderland beat liverpool [rofl]

umm Liverpool are shit at the moment, whats happening. Its the culmination of bad form I think, Owen, Gerrard, Heskey (as usual), Dudek and Henchoz have had bad patches this season. And when there is constant bad form, the team suffers.
And If you think Premiership managers get pressure, hear this. Tonight I watched the Barca vs Sevilla match, as I kinda follow the Catalans. 3 - 0 down all the Barca fans wave white hankerchiefs in Joan Gaspart (club presidents) direction and turn away from the match in disgust. 80,000 fans showing their distaste for their teams poor performance.
I dont understand Barca, amazing in Europe, awful domestically. But when you put players like Mendieta and Saviola on the bench you have to be mad/
Van Gaal - goodbye

Steven's drumming made the band; he made a big musical difference. His sense of swing was the push and pull that gave those songs their feel, afterwards, nothing worked.
