Jose said it, so it will happen.
And you know what the scary thing is, it will. All the money aside, the guy is a genius.
Cloughie said it best....
I like the look of Mourinho, theres a bit of the young Clough about him.
Say no more.

I'm unsure of his history, but how did he go before Chelsea without the millions and over-priced transfers?
David O'Leary got Leeds performing with all the money he was allowed to spend, but look at Villa now.. we have injury problems and a small squad.. but still..
He's a former Arsenal and international defender, and under his leadership, Olof Mellberg has gone from one of the best defenders in the league to a very inconsistent error prone defender for example.
Anyway that's my rant about DOL done with

Incredibly well actually.
Assistant to Sir Bobby Robson at Barcelona for a few years. Mainly interpreting to and from english, but had a more active role towards the end. Took a small town portuguese club took the top 5 in portugal. Left for Benfica and left after an impressive start - can't remember why but he wasn't sacked. Won the EUFA Cup, the Champions League, a couple of domestic cups and the portguese league a handful of times with porto in the club's most succesful period ever. All of this done with very little money.
Whatever anyone says about the man, and they say alot, he's an excellent coach and man manager. Listen to any interview with his players and they have total respect for him.

Jose is a genius? Hardly. He's had any player he wanted to get the premiership. Ferguson won the premiership countless times with bargains like Cantona, May, Johnson, Ole, Keane, Ince ect plus a group of kids. That's genius. Fair play he won the champions league with Porto, but fuck sake, even Liverpool won that.
Take away the money and he's just another foreign manager in english football, because the ladies like him, and the guys wanna be him.
And on Sven, what the hell was he at the Liverpool v Fulham match for? One english man on the pitch, like. The guy really doesn't know what hes doing.

Just a message to say get in there Tony Pulis, keep the Argyle afloat!

Yeah, I've always wondered where ManU would be today if it weren't for the cheapness of the people above Ferguson.
Over the years he was denied magnificent players like Shearer, Batistuta, Nesta and many more I can't remember right now.
The upper management didn't even take proper care of the star players, waiting until they threatened to leave before offering them new contracts.
Sure, Fergie made mistakes, like buying Veron or driving Becks away, but if he had at least half of Jose's money in the past 10-15 years MU would be even greater than they are/were

Thought that would get your attention....
I'm a big American football fan, but don't know much about ...welll .....we call it soccer for some reason.
An honest question here.....Last May I was in Costa Rica and discovered that each town had a church and a football field. Football ( not the american version) is huge in that country. Are there many players from that part of the world playing in Europe? Coasties are real passionite about the sport.

A few turn up - but not many in the UK because u need a work permit - because Costa Rica aren't that high in the world rankings it works against their application

Well Liverpool found a team worse than they are and Man Utd were revealed as the team of old timers they are. Man Utd's defeat really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who has checked their lineups of late - when u think of what they used to have.....

Manchester United: Edwin van der Sar, Mikael Silvestre, Phillip Bardsley (Kieran Richardson 31), Rio Ferdinand (Wes Brown 87), John O'Shea, Paul Scholes, Darren Fletcher, Wayne Rooney, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Alan Smith, Ji-Sung Park (Cristiano Ronaldo 60)
What old timers?? The problem is the lack of old timers like Keane, Giggs or even Neville, to give the team consistency.
I still say the biggest problem of ManU is the injuries. What the fuck are they doing to the players?
No other big team has this happening to them!! I know the Premier League is a tough intense league, but come on!!

Very disappointing. I saw Man U as the only team that would have a hope of at least giving Chelsea a little challenge this season. It's all too easy for Chelsea.
I'm sick to death of Mourinho too.. Beattie mentions after their 1-1 draw that he thinks Chelsea are beatable.. and so Mourinho takes a dig at him and his goal scoring record etc.. now he's having a blast at Wenger.

MU lost yet again...every big team goes through these kinds of phases, the trick is putting it behind you as quickly and as little damage as you can...going out in the group stages of the CL is HUGE damage!
I'm dying to see the banned Keano interview !!

So sad that they have to censor him - are they that insecure? Whatever happened to freedom of speach - its not as if he's praising terrorists....
