Another factor is children.  Men can (barring complications) impregnate women to a ripe old age...women cannot have children to that same old age.  If he wanted kids (which I'm guessing he doesn't, since he asked for 45-55 year old women), then I think it's perfectly reasonable to want younger women.

It's unfair, but that's the way it is !! If a man takes care of himself, he can be attractive to women much younger, but a woman can't do that after a certain age.

I have to agree with you on this.  It's unfair as hell though.  I don't know why society says it's socially acceptable for older men and younger women.  I just think men are less accepting of physical imperfection.  It also might have roots in biology... men being naturally attracted to youth because it signals fertility.  When I look at Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, I find it silly.  Demi Moore is hot, but I think Ashton Kutcher probably won't want her when she starts to look elderly.  Maybe it makes me feel like they're with their mothers.
