For those of you interested I think this is on tonight/tomorrow

In High Definition should be good !!!!!

http://www.hd.net/schedule_today.html

3:20 AM ET
12:20 AM PT   Velvet Revolver - Live in Houston
A concert that follows the release of their self-titled first album, Velvet Revolver. The five-man powerhouse rock band finally brings something new to the scene. While Velvet Revolver inevitably offers a few echoes of its members' illustrious pasts, their sound is defiantly forward-looking and truly fresh. The band features Guns N' Roses founding members Slash and Duff, as well as Stone Temple Pilots vocalist Scott Weiland.

I've got this on DVD.
It's "okay", but it has some stupid editing/effects in it.

HDNet is a variety channel that shows various shows and concerts in HD.  Up to your local cable channel/satellite co. to pick it up.  It's offered around here, and it shows a strange mix of programs...old Showtime shows (Dead Like Me), cancelled sitcoms (Arrested Development...YES!!, Hogan's Heroes), movies, and concerts.   There seems to be no logic to the programming, but it's a fun channel.

I've seen the VR Houston show (which I found disappointing, except for the "behind the scenes" story of forming the band), as well as Sammy Hagar and more...

Yeah the effects were quite stupid....it got blocky because of all the flashy lights. ?Other than that it was a pretty cool show.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

isnt houston the VR supposed forthcoming dvd.
maybe the dvd project is not in the next releases program anymore but if it still is there s no big interest in that except the fact it is in HD, so you better record it on HD too otherwise, many of us will wait for the dvd. my HD DVD burner is still searching for home made HD DVD i know it's still expensive & quite new but it is definitly interesting
anyway i dont know exactly, maybe i'm all wrong

It was supposed to come our awhile ago.. I kind of hope they scrapped the idea though.. That was early in the tour and the setlists got so much better later on with songs like Superhuman, Dirty Little Thing and You Got No Right...............

It sure seemed like it was early in the tour.  From what Scott & Slash were saying on stage to the simple fact that it looked as if the band was still "figuring out" how to play together on stage, the whole thing didn't seem as...polished as I would have expected...

Just my opinion, but you're not missing much.  It seems like an early show in the band's career.  I'm sure a future DVD release will have a much more polished performance, fewer covers, and more "behind-the-scenes" type of extras.
