Counting the signs & cursing the miles in between.

« on: December 27, 2006, 10:18:11 AM »

Can anyone tell me what the noise is at the very beginning of "It's So Easy" off of Live Era?

My brother says it's Axl or another member saying "Hit it!", but I always thought it was feedback or a cord stroke from the Slash/Izzy/Gilby. Does anyone know what it is? Thank you for your help. Smiley

In my ears it's always been "idiot".

Which is actually very strange considering it follows Axls plead to the fans to take a step back in Nightrain.

Idiot, eh? That's pretty good. I'll listen some more and see if I can hear that. Grin

"It's So Easy" comes after "Mr. Brownstone" though. Wink

Thank  you for replying Polluxlm.

as far as i know its from paris 92' and its the opening song,  if you look at the dvd footage there is nothing to suggest that axl says anything apart from singing the song.......... i? could be wrong
some of the songs on live era were also edited, so are different from the actual perfomances

if you listen to it on high volume and the like 3 first seconds on repeat it sounds like maybe tune in or hit it and i think both of those would work ok

It's gotta be idiot. He clearly says either idi-it or hiti-it. The mocking tone in his voice suggests that it's not an order to the crew, so it's most likely idiot.

And it's in no way connected to the speach he's got at the end of Brownstone, that was from a different show.

It's definitely Paris '92. I've got Live Era & the Paris '92 video & audio boot. It's definitely from Paris.

By the way, it's also definitely, "hit it".
