(antiMusic) Did Axl get Sebastian Bach a record deal for Christmas? At the final stop on the Guns N' Roses tour in Universal City, Ca. Bach joined Axl and the band on stage to duet the GNR classic "My Michelle", while he giving his intro thanks to the crowd, Bach announced that he thinks he got a new "record deal tonight!"

Bach, the former Skid Row frontman, opened the entire tour with his solo band. Axl gave his adopted hometown a great final show of the tour that included a guest appearance from Izzy Stradlin as well as some special Christmas songs during a couple of the solos including Bumblefoot's "Grinch" sing-along.

Axl announced two weeks ago that the long awaited 'Chinese Democracy' CD has a tentative release date in early March.

He used to with spitfire. dont know what happened though. for the past couple of months he said he was talking to a couple of labels for signing him.

Bach had mentioned that because of the tour with GNR he had more major label attention so it's not shocking. He was with a small label for his previous recordings if i remember right.

hes been negotiating with 3major labels since about Mid-October about signing him.. hopefully this time it came through and happened.

well find out soon enough I guess..

hell yeah. i wasnt a skid row fan before this whole chain of events happened. once i heard the trunk interview, i got a hold of some albums and really like a lot of it. another thing i have axl to thank for.

Baz is an amazing singer.  I was really amazed that his voice is so preserved after all these years.  I remember seeing him with Skid Row back in 1990 and 16 years later he still can hit every note he did back then.

I can't wait to hear his new music!  Especially "By Your Side" in a polished studio version!

If touring with GNR has helped him get the label attention he deserves, even better!

I'm kidding.

No seriously, I love Baz and loved his opening sets, but let's be honest, Baz would be draining oil pans if it wasn't for Axl.

Honestly, even though I loved that new ballad he'd been playing with his solo band, I think even now, without Guns N' Roses, Baz doesn't really have a spotlight. The interest just isn't there...
