Theres one during LALD right?

The flames make a pretty big bang..

There's one in Better that doesn't bang, Paradise City, sometimes one in You Could Be Mine.. I'm sure there's others I'm forgetting.

Oh there's November Rain, obviously..

Technically it's fireballs during LALD, they use flame jets in other songs though (sorry to correct but i'm a pyrotechnician and I can't help myself lol), did they use the stage roman candles during better on any other shows, I believe they did on Better and the Download Festival.

Yeah, no shit. I really like that part where they have the guitar build up in OTGM and then Axl comes in the with the "Some people have a chip  . . . " but in the live one, damn, that explosion not only takes away from the power, but I thought I had a heart attack when it happened. I also don't like it in Jungle, but it's OK in LALD.

I seem to recall more pyro during this tour, but it's definitely toned down to when they had huge stages and all Axl costume changes.

I fuckin' love it man.

Nothing like hearing the scream, drum build up, then KABOOM! Welcome To The Jungle, we got fun n' games!

Fuckin' awesome. The pyro in LALD, OTGM & YCBM also kicks ass!

There's a bit of a difference though.  The flame blasts and the noise explosions aren't necessarily linked.  During Chinese Democracy there's quite a number of flames, but no accompanied explosion.  This isn't the case with Live n' Let Die.  There were a couple of shows I noted that the explosion noise wasn't timed perfectly with the shooting flames.

I do think that the explosion sound at the beginning of Jungle is awesome.  The openning riffs of Jungle is the best sound ever; having it build to a crescendo of explosion is quite amazing - something that got the crowd ready for what lay ahead.

Cheers,

Andrew

I'm a fan, as I am of the one in the middle of OTGM.

All the concerts I went to, this one always caught everyone off guard. Kind of funny to watch people get the shit scared out of them.
