Dec. 20 show?

This fucking rocks. I can still remember when Cotis first suggested throwing in some scratch to liberate this and I was (no offense) laughing my ass off. Then I saw the show and watched the first person throw in some money, and I thought, damn, I need to be a part of this.

Still, I wasn't sure it woudl work. While I believed in Cotis, I didn't know if we'd get enough buy-in and enough folks here to trust the system and - hell - I don't know who the seller is or if he was cool - so there was that facotr.

But now . . . . Fuck yeah.

Everyone pat themselves on the fucking back for this one.

And it is great seeing Fans organizing and supporting filmers...
This system of a small contribution by everyone could liberate some more Videos.
And some external filmers will get? motivated to film GNR in 2007...

I'm going to be shipping a couple sets out tomorrow, mostly to those with good upload speed (timebomb, bandita, ssgnoitro, etc.) and they live close. They'll probably get them Monday or Tuesday, so early next week it'll be up at PCT, tracker.gnr.us, etc.

Burning all night and all day tomorrow. Hoping I get everyones done by tomorrow, so I can study for exams and stuff next week. Sunday I won't be able to burn, so I'm going to get everyones done tomorrow hopefully.

hey i got anquick question and it's way off topic but since it's all good. can someone tell me real quick what Axl's professional appearance was before it all went to hell (pre- 2001). Was it the "Come Together" cover for the Hall of Fame?

Axl joins Bruce Springsteen for this song at the 1994 Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony. From Brucebase - This duet was originally scheduled/planned for Rod Stewart and Elton John. Rod Stewart didn't make the event because of the earthquake in Los Angeles shortly before the event. As Bob Weir/John Popper and others peformed on stage, the production personnel approached Bruce with the lyrics to Come Together. Bruce politely refused, repeatedly. The producers then approached Axl Rose who was at the next table over. Axl agreed and then pulled up a chair next to Bruce. After a minute or two of conversation, Axl put the lyrics on the table and Bruce and Axl hovered over the paper for a few minutes. As Bob Weir/John Popper et al left the stage, Bruce and Axl simply got up, walked onto the stage and rocked. No rehearsal. No practice. Amazing to witness.
