- people are getting DVDs from/through Cotis at some point (after sending cash/receiving the tapes/transfering the tapes/authoring the show/sending-spreading the show)
- Cotis is getting a real HDV clone (nice deal for 100$ you're spending!) which is way way superior in quality than any good DVD transfer

am i right on this?

-HD-DV clones
-SD-DV clones
-2 DVD set made by the seller

I'm willing ot send out the SD-DV clones and/or the HD-DV clones to someone to author, I know not many, if any, have the ability to transfer HD-DV stuff, so I'm probably going to end up hanging onto these for awhile, until someone that has that ability turns up.

I've got many options to send hte SD-DV clones to, to make a DVD. Would you possibly be interested Limulus? I love your work and I think you could make a great one out of this. Let me know if you're interested and I'll put you on my list of potential author-ers.

We've got $416.60 "in hand" so to speak right now, after the PayPal fees were taken from the donations.

Everyone who has pledged has sent, thank you very much. I'm awaiting money from EFISH + AF, Chief and timebomb. This will take us close if not over the $500 mark, where I have another member of the forum who's willing to chip in the rest till we reach $500. After that, payment will be sent, I'll receive the SD-DV, HD-DV and 2 DVD set from the seller. His 2 DVD set will be disperse right away, upload to PCT or Dime, maybe both. After that, SD-DV clones will possiblly be sent out to a great authorer (Limulus, Jemin, etc.) someone like that if they're willing to make a DVD out of this show.

Congrats everyone! We're basically done!

I have an HDV camera, since DVD is SD only it will be the same quality if it is made off an SD or HD clone anyway- unless someone wants me to try making 720p files.

I think though with a dual layer dvd you can fit 40 mins of hd footage per disc, I'm getting a dual layer burner soon and am going to experiment with another show I filmed in HD on it.  But you can make 720p hd footage(like the sample the filmer provided) and fit that on regular dvds, If I can figure this stuff out I'd be up for making the hidef dvds of this show being that it seems I'm the only one here with a cam that can play back HD tapes besides the taper.
